After 1989 the Hospital was temporarily closed following the demise of Dr. U. Mohan Rau. It was entirely rebuilt in the same premises completely modernized in 1995 and considerably expanded as "Dr. U. Mohan Rau Memorial Hospital". Strategically located in the heart of Chennai, it is easily accessible from all parts of Chennai. It is a 30 bedded multi-specialty modern hospital, specializing in various Surgical procedures, but also including all main branches of medicine. **** ****** ** *** * ****** * ******** I had done a gynaecomastia surgery way back in his hospital in Chennai. I remember after surgery I was kind of literally thrown on to the stretcher to transfer me to another room. The bad part is after a month of surgery I found my right chest is still not done properly. They took 55k totally from me at that time and when I asked the doctor about it " He kind of behaved rudely and in a rude tone he said " if you do it again any surgery on it, it will completely ruin it. * ********** **** *** ** *** ******* *** *** ***** ** ****** * ****** ** ** ********** ** *** *** ******* *** **** **** ** ****** *** My suggestion to every person, please visit doctors after knowing them ** **** *** *** ** * ****** ** ***** ******* ********thank You

His confidence on the surgery and treatment based on his rich experience in the field will inevitably rub on you dispelling all the fears harboured in the mind and heart.
