My Experience with Dr. Geetanjali E – Mehta Hospital, Chetpet

We were actually consulting our long-time gynecologist until the 7th month of my wife’s pregnancy. But when our regular doctor had to suddenly travel abroad, we found ourselves a bit lost. This was our second baby, my wife is 35, and we were already dealing with concerns like low hemoglobin and reduced amniotic fluid. We visited the doctor recommended to us, but for some reason I just couldn’t feel confident enough to continue.

That’s when I heard about Dr. Geetanjali E at Mehta Hospital. We met her for the first time in the 9th month, and honestly, that one appointment changed everything. She sat with us for almost an hour, listened calmly to every single concern, and went through my wife’s entire history with genuine patience. Fast forward — we are now blessed with a healthy baby boy through normal delivery. Even though the water level had reduced, Dr. Geetanjali didn’t rush into a C-section. She waited, monitored closely, and supported us all the way for a normal delivery.

We walked into her clinic with worry, but walked out with trust. And today, we are walking home with our baby boy — all thanks to her calm approach, confidence, and genuine care. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled gynecologist.

Im Niraimathi, since past four months i suffered from severe stomach pain, had visited many hospitals not satisfied at all but after we had visited saveetha hospital by god's grace we had best team, which was led by Dr.Sree kumar sir. My Father-in-law has been suffering from diabetic foot for many years. Last month the infection aggravated. We were worried that it was going to end up in an amputation. I took him to Dr Amilthan. He is a fantastic person. He operated the toe and removed the infection. within 2 weeks it infection completely healed. Its one month now and the toe is back to its proper shape without even a mark of the infection. My father in law is extremely happy to see his toe as it was 5 years ago!

I was referred to Dr Amilthan by a family friend for gallbladder surgery. At first, I didn't know what to expect as this was my first surgery. However, at the end of it all, I was very happy I got the procedure done by him and not anyone else.

Dr. Amilthan was extremely patient and polite while responding to all of my concerns both prior and after the surgery. He took utmost care and made sure I was comfortable throughout. At no point of time did I feel any discomfort, and recovery was also very smooth thanks to his care. He was very confident that I would be back to work two days after surgery and indeed I was! I also really liked that he didn't prescribe any unwanted medications, unlike most doctors.

Since I had a left ovarian cyst and thickened endometrium, I had been advised to undergo laproscopic hysterectomy and left ovarian cystectomy.

Three of my friends recommended Dr Priya Kannappan. Since I am 59 years old, I was initially hesitant to undergo the surgery. Consulted for adenomyotic uterus problem..advised total hysterectomy.. got my lap surgery done.. with my after surgery feel.. I’d say she’s a very good lap surgeon as I had absolutely no pain.. she made me walk the next day.. she personally helped me walk and I got the confidence to go home the next day !!!
