Dr. Jyotsna Kurien Mathai is an alumnus of the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Mumbai, and holds a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology (1989) from the same institute. She is also a Diplomate of the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, having completed her DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1992.
