Dr. Divyashree Rajendra

I wanted to get Invisalign braces so consulted a few of doctors in the city. Since it is a relatively new technology and an expensive one at that I had to make sure I chose the best doctor. From my consultations I learnt a few points and I am sharing it here to help other patients.

-Being from the IT background I found this technology very interesting. The doctor uses a scanner to scan the teeth and use digital imaging software to plan the treatment, results of which is shown within seconds of scanning. It also shows the number of invisalign aligners needed and treatment duration. Amazing! Once you okay the plan, the aligners are manufactured in US and sent back. Hence the cost.

- The cost varies depending on how many aligners are required. As I learnt, they have different packages and the rates vary from 1.5 lac to 3.5lac. This is where it helps to research and consult few doctors because the rates vary by thousands of rupees.

-There are some imitation brands that cost very less but they are not actually Invisalign and you can confirm by asking about scanner.

-Ask questions about how they plan to correct the problem. A good doctor should be able to answer satisfactorily.

So based on these factors finally I have started my treatment with DR Divyasree for Invisalign. *** ***** ** **** **** ********* *** showed me case example to show how it works. Rates are lesser though not cheapest compared to others.

I shall soon update on the treatment progress.

I had already taken Orthodontics -braces once when I was 22 in the year 2002 and teeth were misaligned after the treatment as I was negligent at wearing the retainers.Later, I was reluctant whether it's possible to take the Orthodontics for second time and also I was not sure, if it's really misaligned,but I was facing difficulty while uttering some words containing ppa,bba,eff etc , where both lips to be touched to make such sounds and I used to get stuck during conversation if such words to be made. Reluctantly,I visited Dr. Divya Shree Rajendra. To my surprise, the Doctor said,it can be corrected!And immediately,she started the Invisalign orthodontics. Now my basic issue has been improved along with my aesthetics too.

Treatment is a bit costly. But it's worth every penny.

I visited Dr. Divyashree in 2017 for the treatment of 4 of my impacted teeth, and before visiting her we also checked on my case from 2-3 other dentists also. So we could say whatever she explained in detail, made complete sense.

She prescribed for braces and also made it very clear that in my case it is going to take a long time. She also told us about the other option (extraction of permanent impacted teeth and doing implantation), in case we don't want to go for braces but she also shared her personal opinion that going for braces is the best option for me.

We listened to her and got started with the treatment.

This is 2021, my braces are removed, it took total 3.5 years for the complete treatment and I am so happy that i chose her.

Such a long time and you're supposed to see your dentist every month during the treatment so I feel it's really important that your dentist has to be as 'patient and hopeful' with the progress in treatment as you yourself are, or may be more than you. And Dr. Divyashree certainly has all these qualities.

And one extra star ⭐ for the staff in the clinic. Everybody is so polite and good. 👍🏻

I basically came to Dr Divyashree for opinion on correcting my crooked teeth. Different doctors had suggested different treatments like veneers, braces or whatever I wanted, etc. So I was confused. But Dr Divyashree made sense with her explanation, why braces was better for me than veneers and so on. And she explained everything in such a way that any lay person like me could understand. I strongly recommend her to anyone who is considering treatment to straighten teeth.. Visit her and then you will understand what I mean. Regarding cost for braces her charges are 5000-6000 rupees more than the other doctors I had met before, but I felt confident in her abilities and I do not want to take any chances with my teeth and face. Also the clinic is very neat and big and promises to use high quality products. So the cost difference is justified.

I visited the doc as i had sensitivity in my tooth and gum swelling. For sensitivity she suggested me nothing and said all is fine and there are no cavities at all. I was left wondering then why am i not able to chew properly ,if everything is fine to that extent!

For gum swelling she told me i have deep bite issue which didn't match up with deep bite case that i have seen in my vicinity. Still coming from a doc i wanted to know more of it and she suggested a treatment worth 5-7lakh spanning over an year ,to which i told her i am leaving India in a couple of days so don't have that much of time. So she suggested me some sort of braces worth 6k .

I was not able to wrap my head around that i have deep bite and a surgery is mandatory for it(i have a friend who suffers from it and she is under going treatment for it ,so i had a rough idea how it looks like what are the implications) .

So ,just to be clear in my head, i visited two other dentist and none suggested deep bite (vehemently negated it!!) and i needed a couple of fillings due to the cavity. I got so skeptical of the doctors that i made both the dentist mark the teeth which needed filling and when i saw same teeth are involved that is when i went ahead with the filling. So, that's my story! This happened in Nov '16 but didn't get time to write the review(was busy with travelling+relocation) ,but i was sure i am going to write it ** **** ****** ******** ***

I visited Smiles n More clinic, HSR layout, thrice for consulting about tooth extraction and Invisalign treatment.

The first time I visited, I was asked to get a CBCT scan for teeth extraction. After reading the CBCT scan, the dentist recommended that I should go for extraction of 2 teeth & surgical removal of 1 tooth costing 15,000.

Once I confirmed the extraction and sought for an appointment, I was told that charges initially quoted were for 2 teeth. I decided not to get too hung up on this and requested for an appointment. The receptionist said we will have to revisit for Invisalign scan and only post that will I be given an appointment for extraction.

I got the scan for Invisalign done by paying 15,000. On this visit too, no appointment for extraction was confirmed.

I called again the next day for appointment and the receptionist asked for a “preferred date and time” and then said would get back with a confirmation. As I didn’t hear back, I followed up, and again she asked me “preferred date and time”. I followed up thrice over that week to hear the same ******* response. It was as if I was calling the first time, every time, for an appointment.

I decided to let go of this clinic even though I had paid Rs. 15,000 for Invisalign scan - for which, I did not receive the link to the Invisalign treatment plan (to visualise in a laptop). Instead I was sent a photo of the would-be post Invisalign treatment.

A month later I get a call from this clinic saying that I haven’t gotten back to them!

Overall, I had a bad experience with this clinic. I found them playing very hard to get. Did not find them very transparent either. Found it difficult to access the dentist. It didn’t come across to me that they really cared about their patients.

I am getting my treatment done in another clinic with much better response, service, care, and for a much lower price.

I am 38 and my child is 12 , we both started braces treatment about 10 months back from Dr. Divyashree by reading reviews about her and her orthodontic clinic in HSR Layout.

I would strongly recommend her and her team and this wonderful holistic Dental set up for all dental needs.

Advantages of braces treatment with dr. Divyashree is firstly she is very frank about the treatment options and it was explained very nicely , she has got more than 10 years of experience and has treated many patients with braces. She showed us case photos treated by her.

She is available at the centre 6 days a week as oppose to many other clinic where braces specialist visits once a month. We have been able to schedule our appointments as per our choice and our time was not wasted.

A doctor highly qualified with degrees and gold medal certificates displayed clearly. Doctor was very professional , she is a full time orthodontist available. Branded braces used like 3M. 3M Company itself has displayed her profile in the reception. Very much impressed. I had been to a local BDS Dentist nearby. No Full time Orthodontist. Please visit many dentist take two opinions and then get your treatment done. I am writing this so that other patients know about degrees between BDS and MDS as they display as implantologist in local clinics. Go visit the clinic. Speak to doctors. See clinic and verify certificates.

Dr. Divyashree is very experienced and she clearly understood my problem *** *********** ** ****** *********. She is a meticulous doctor and the braces treatment never hurt me. The tools and equipment she uses are always clean and gives an advanced technology experience to the patients. The visits were scheduled for once in a month and therefore became very easy for me to visit. The clinic is hygienic and has a great ambience. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Divyashree and highly appreciate her work in the field of dentistry. A strong recommendation, to anyone who is suffering from a bad smile because after all smile matters across your life as it boosts your personality and confidence.

This place is great! Starting with the reception ,it has a clean and modern feel the staff is extremely helpful and courteous.

The assistant staff is very thoughtful.
