She is a good doctor. But on asking for her number to contact in case of emergency, she refused to give. She gave me her mail ID though and said I can mail for any issues. Personally, I would have appreciated if she had shared her number with her patients, especially new mother's.
Brilliant experience with the Doctor malathi raja & the way he treatment’s babies. It gives a booster for Mothers to listen to his way of assessing babies & monitoring theie progress. Some of the unknown facts about babies eating pattern & diet was explained very clearlyEverything good, except wait.Kids become impatient. But that’s part and parcel to meet such an excellent doctor I think it’s so best Hospital Cloudnine for all Treatment’s babies

She is friendly and listens to everything with patience. But her suggestions are helpful in ideal conditions (where everything is smooth w.r.t baby and mother's milk) but not in real-time problematic situation -
1.This was our 2nd check up post my baby's birth.
My baby had developed some red granular rashes on his face, chin and neck side. She gave one ointment to apply over but that didn't help even after using it for 13 days and it turned to some watery itchy eruptions as if the skin is burnt.
2. My breast milk production was not enough to feed my baby in every 2 hrs for 10-15 mins. This was a major concern for me as no one would like to keep her baby hungry. So I needed some guidance for formula feeding. To this i didn't get any suggestions on correct quantity and frequency based on age and weight. She gave one medicine for 10 days to increase milk but that too didn't help much after taking it upto 5 days.
I understand bm is best for babies and she was trying to help my baby with mother's milk but mother's who don't have much milk have to depend on formula and giving formula to infants defenitely require some guidance on quantity and frequency which we didn't get from her. Initial days were traumatic for me as my milk didn't help my baby much and the formula feed given to him was completely based on guidance written on pack.

It was the day of discharge and she rushed into our room. Not sure she has checked any records and she said, "let us monitor the baby today and discharge tomorrow". Upon asking as to why the baby needs to be monitored, she told that the mother might not be confident enough to feed and if stayed she would gain some! Seriously! I said, my wife is good and we are ready to get discharged.
****** ************ soft spoken, talks to the point and catches what should be the correct stage of ur child's development. Ensures my baby is growing at right pace. Tells Do's and dont's for future.
Believes in less medication and I prefer her over any other doctor.

Dr. Malathi is an experienced and we'll recommended doctor. Dr. Malathi was the attending pediatrician during the birth of our twins. We will continue to going back to Dr. Malathi as we have had a great experience with her. I would recommend Dr. Malathi to my friends and family.
An excellent doctor who diagnoses the problem and listens patiently... treats kids with a smile and care...her appointments get delayed by 30 mins, as she also handles neo-natal emergencies, hence understandable... very responsive on emails even during weekends...
