Dr. Anupama V. Hegde

Dr. Anupama V. Hegde, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at M.S. Ramaiah Narayana Hrudayalaya & Asst. Professor in Cardiology at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, completed her M.B.B.S from Karnatak Medical College, Hubli. After a short stint as ICU resident at Mallige Medical Centre, she did her three years Senior Registrarship in General Medicine at St. Martha’s hospital as a part of DNB training & obtained DNB degree in general medicine from N.B.E, subsequently followed by DNB training in Cardiology at Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital completing her DNB in Cardiology in the first attempt. She has worked as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at B.M.J Heart Centre (VIVUS) for about five years. She has been involved as Co-investigator in various International Phase III trials. Her special interest lies in management of Coronary Heart Disease in women and patients with Pulmonary Hypertension. She also has the experience of working as Diabetologist and involved in training of students and staff, as also presented papers in various State & National Level Conferences.
