I am Barbara Chourppa, NRI from US. I have been struggled with a speech issue, particularly with spluttering words. I consulted several doctors in the United States at reputed hospitals. They conducted brain scans, blood tests, and other evaluations, but nothing conclusive was found.

Later, during a visit to Bangalore, I decided to try a different approach. After one consultation, I met Ms Shruthi, Speech Therapist at Mind and Brain Hospital. In my very first session, she was able to identify the root of my issue. She conducted simple verbal, writing, and memory tests, yet I found myself struggling with them. Despite having worked for a Fortune 500 company in the U.S. for 36 years, this realization was overwhelming, and I became very emotional.

However, Shruthi’s diagnosis was thorough and insightful. Based on her assessment, she recommended 12 one-on-one sessions. Remarkably, from the very first day, my husband and sons noticed a positive change when I spoke with them over the phone.

Now that I am back in the U.S., I continue to practice the techniques and exercises I learned at Mind and Brain. My improvement has been significant—I would rate myself at 8 out of 10 today.

We are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve normal speech, and thanks to Ms. Shruthi, this journey has been efficient and truly life-changing. I wholeheartedly thank Ms. Shruthi for her dedication and support.

I have been consulting with Dr Safiya for over a year. At a time, when I was desperate for help, I accidentally found her on practo and booked an appointment and that's the best thing that happened.

While I do not think it's necessary to get into the details of my diagnosis and the treatment path, I can just say that I'm still alive now only because I reached out to the right doctor.

Honestly, in the initial months I was confused, stressed out and had lost sense of direction.. But Dr. Safiya exactly knows what she is doing. And I have great respect for her. She is patient, empathetic *** *** ******** **********

Dr. Safia is expert & experienced in her field. Her patience in diagonising and explaining the health issues, makes the patient feel better & builds up hopes of getting healed quickly. I am getting my wife treated with Dr. Safiya. I had been to other psychiatrist earlier & was taking treatment for around 10 years. They give some very light medication to be continued for years together & doesn't treat the actual ailment. By visiting here I can notice considerable changes & satisfaction of the patient within a week of starting the treatment.I would like to recommend Dr. Safiya to all the patients suffering from issues related to mind, brain, behaviour. Psychiatric & psychological ailments.God willing you will find your cure.May God bless her & her family & reward her for her noble work.

Told everything what is going to myself and doctor is understanding my problem but she didn't understand,

As I said her I'm not happy to stay with my family they give me emotional torcher and pressure.

Because I have not born and raised with my parents

I have bought up by my grandparents but they are no more

Even though Doctor is not understanding my concern

If I go meet my friends and loved ones in my native

I will be alright and will be finding some pace of mind

So doctor said not to go to my native and I felt little bad.

Why because there are no one to speak to me

Neither I have friends here in Bangalore nor my siblings speaks with me polite way.

Guys its not worth the money or time

I have booked the appointment @12.40 but there was delay for the meeting!

Doctor listened to me but somewhat like she was watching the notification in her phone , and mainly so many staff interrupted the meeting

Somewhat i didn't feel like privacy except the another staff member was there ( she was not intern, or pg student, i felt she wanted to discuss about the staff faculty)

I am sorry to say this, in my opinion i will not recommend this doctor (sorry once again)

The session ended within 20min(including prescription time) as she wanted to end soon and meet the staff member who was sitting inside the room

The doctor was not even ready to speak 10 minutes for our first consultation. I went as bystander and she even told me to do the test which cost 3000 rupees. both of us we paid around 7600 rupees, which includes the consultation fee. When we went the second time to analyze the report, again they charged 1500 rupees for consultation. The hospital management was insisting that we go with their package. Since we were not ready to do that, they didn't communicate with us properly regarding the next visit and therapy session. While consulting doctors, the people were kept coming to the doctor's room, and it made us more uncomfortable. The doctor's approach was not comfortable to open up. ******** * **** **** *** ********** ** *** ******** *** *** ****** ** *** ************* ************* **** ***** **** ** ***** ** *** ******* We felt even more depressed after consulting her.

Really disappointed and disatisfied while the doctor was willing to listen to your concerns there is no proper advice given to the patient the doctor asked me to get a blood test and later on informed I will be sent to therapy which i agreed upon and the blood test was conducted for a whooping 3k/- **** * **** ******* ***** ** ** intern comes up taking my number for therapy i did ask will it be chargeable which she said she will lemme know ( pretty sure it will ) the very next day I don't get any call in regards to my reports nor any therapy i had to visit to collect my reports and waited 30 mins then too no one tried to ask me what was I doin or why do I need my reports they jus gave it to me I'm someone willth socia anxiety n people don't understand what I say at times now I'm left hanging out with reports **** ** **** *** *** **** ** **** ***** ****** ****** **** **** ******* **** ******* * ***** ****** ******* ***** **** ******** ** **** **** ** *** **** ***** ****** ************ no proper advice just few tablets n i did get a call from thier intern but I don't think I will ever go back to that ** ****** hospital *** **** ******** ********* ***** *** **** **** ** **** * ***** ***** ********** **** ***** *

Dr safiya is gem person , I took a appointment with her for anxiety disorder , I was So weak and I had a lot of issues , Dr safiya helped to cope up and now I am

On the urge of recovery , and also I would like to DR rukiya who help d to identify my issue and work on the same . Thanks all for giving me another life

Dr. Safiya mam is very good understanding professional. She listens all problem very calmly and give solution to the problem. she is very smiling and welcoming. she is very non judgmental professional. *** ** *** **** ************ ** ********* who can solve if a person is going through health anxiety ,depression and fear.
