Very friendly and understanding. Listened to my problem patiently and started on conservative treatment. On the next day only after explaining my discomfort he put me on antibiotic.I was looking for a very good physician for my family for a long time. Now I think I have finally found one. Since he also consults online, it is a great help as we stay far off in Yelahanka. If required will certainly not hesitate to travel all the way for personal consultation. if you want to be get healed in 2 or 3 consulation its the right place for you.

my frist and last visit, jus gave me normal medicines ***** *** ** ***** ** ******** *** *****. moreover he charged us for the masks(thats ok )but could have told by receptionist prior . And also he asked us for blood test refrence , but didnt gave any antibitotic to be cured soon.

Hello Sir- To your comments, below are some points that I would like to highlight: 1. You mention that it takes 2-3 consultations at our clinic to get healed. You visited our clinic only once and I prescribed certain medications based on my clinical judgement of your condition at the time of your visit. I had also informed you to contact me if your condition persists or worsens; furthermore, I gave you my personal phone number in case you wanted to reach out to me directly. You neither called nor visited my clinic again so I had no idea about your medical condition since your first and only visit. 2. You mention that I only gave you “normal medicines” which you can get from any pharmacy and that I did not prescribe antibiotics. I would like to mention sir that not all ailments require antibiotics to get cured. You mention that you consulted me for a Flu, and I would like to clarify that a “flu” by definition is viral infection and these most often do not require antibiotics. Based on my clinical evaluation of your condition, if I did not prescribe antibiotics, it was because I felt you did not require antibiotics. The answer to every medical condition is not an antibiotic, and in fact irrational/indiscriminate use of antibiotics could potentially lead to antibiotic resistance- which means that the antibiotic may not work when you need it the most. Had I known your condition was worsening if it was, I would have altered medications as necessary. Medical treatment is often an iterative process, sometimes patients recover immediately, and sometimes things need to be changed as the medical condition evolves, and no one can exactly predict how things may proceed. In my practice, I tend to be judicious with the use of all medications including antibiotics and I use antibiotics where appropriate. 3. I did not understand what you meant by blood test reference. If required I may have prescribed certain blood tests based on your medical condition. We do provide lab facilities at our clinic for the convenience of our patients, and patients can choose to avail these facilities as they deem appropriate or get tests anywhere else. So, I really do not understand the context of your comment in this regard. 4. About the masks- since I examine patients in close proximity, our aim is to minimize contamination of the clinical examination area and to minimize cross infections among other patients/clinic staff. With several upper respiratory infections currently ongoing - H3N2, Possibly COVID, Influenza etc; we request patients to wear masks for safety purposes. If patient’s/their attenders do not have their own masks we provide these to them at a very nominal amount which is at our cost price, our sole intent being the safety of our patients and staff, not any profitability motive whatsoever. .

Hello Sir- With due respect I completely disagree with your comments. I firmly believe that I perform my consultations with humility, kindness and empathy, and that I was no different with you. As this consultation was for another adult, I requested that person’s consent for me to discuss their medical issues with you; this is a medico-legal requirement and you seemed to have taken offense to this as a reflection of my behavior/attitude, which I do not think is justified at all. Furthermore, I was duly following up on the consultation until around 9pm last night which you thanked me for. Thereafter, you sent me messages on the practo chat past midnight and unfortunately due to a technical glitch in the app or otherwise, I did not receive notification of your messages until later in the day, hence I did not know that you had sent me messages until then. As soon as I saw your messages, I messaged you back and also called and spoke to you. I hope you are aware that practo video consultations allow for up to 24 hours for doctors to respond to patient messages on the chat, and I replied much earlier than that; though I would have responded even earlier had I received your message notifications sooner. You were also provided with my clinic number to reach me, but you did not call and instead posted inappropriate messages to me on the chat.

Dr. Prashant is one of the politest, friendliest, and most honest doctors I have ever come across. He wasn't sure if it was chickenpo first, so he recommended the apt route and also kept following up the next day on msgs and video calls. Once confirmed, he immediately suggested the apt prescription and tests. I would highly recommend for any issue - best experience I have had with a doctor on Practo and even in Bangalore.

Dr. Prashant is very friendly and he will listen to the concern, symptoms very patiently. Wait time is also quite less if you want to connect over call/meet him. He will only prescribe the medicines which are required, won't recommend unnecessary medicines.
