We visited doctor for consultation on double-marker test report which showed increased risk for Trisomy 18. Doctor had clearly explained about the report and the possible cause of increased risk due to PAPP-A harmone levels.

Since double-marker is just a screening test, we had been offered to go for confirmatory test called Amniocentesis. Doctor ensured that we understand about this invasive procedure and associated risks and made us comfort to take a right decision.
