The experience with dr Rajiv Bhagwat has been wonderful ..it all started when my dad fell of his bed in the night when going to the bathroom and he suffered a fracture in the thigh bone and the same night he started having chest pain so we took him to a nearby hospital where they told me to take him to another hospital as they didn't had a cardiologist available then one of my friend suggested dr Bhagwat s name and we rushed to nanavati hospital to meet him ...it was a scary moment but dr Bhagwat explained the situation calmly and made us understood ...what I liked the most that he wasn't more on the money part unlike others then the next day he performed angiography and found that there were too many blockages so he again explained us how we should go forward and what are the options dr Bhagwat then suggested that he should undergo a cabg (coronary artery bypass surgery )which for us was like a shocker but again I appreciate mr Bhagwat for making us understand and being there whenever needed he was so helpful that he made me calm and made me understood everything a day before surgery all my questions were properly answered unless I understood them the best part was that he knew exactly how should we deal with Cabg and the pfn surgery for the thigh bone.... all went well in the end my dad had a good cabg followed by the pfn surgery the recovery was good too and am really thankful to dr Bhagwat for guiding us and explaining everything in details even the follow ups are going great ...I couldn't thank him enough for what he did for my dad ...I would seriously recommend dr Bhagwat

My nephew suffered from cardiac arrest while he was driving is scooter in middle of the road. He was taken to a nearby nursing home while i called, Dr Bhagwat who made all out efforts including arranging an Ambulance and attended to the emergency . His timely response and expert handling of a complex surgery almost gave a fresh lease of life like a blessing to my nephew who has had another complications almost a decade later which was once again resolved through intricate surgery by Dr Bhagwat. I found Dr Bhagwat to be extremely professional, an expert in his field and very forthcoming with the information I needed to make good decisions. He was truly God sent and our hospital experience, both pre-and post-operation, courtesy Dr Bhagwat, ensured we were in safe hands.

A follow-up through angiography two weeks ago revealed my father’s heart had significantly recovered, all stents were functioning perfectly with no reoccurrence and a good heart function compared to an alarming 15 percent heart function just six months ago. We are extremely fortunate to find a gem of a doctor during a crucial phase of our lives and will continue to recommend Dr Bhagwat to colleagues, friends, and family.
