Dr. Vaibhav Bagaria

Dr Vaibhav Bagaria is a specialist joint replacement & sports injury surgeon at Sir H N Reliance Foundation hospital, Girgaum, Mumbai. Dr Bagaria having worked with latest technologies at different centers of excellence in the world in last 12 years of his orthopedic career is a perfect mix of youth and experience. He has a special interest in Hip and Knee replacement procedures. He has extensive training in hip and knee revision procedures, hip resurfacing and uni-condylar knee replacements. He is well versed with latest technology in the field especially Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), Computer Navigated Surgery (CAS) and patient specific instrumentation (PSI). On sports injury front, his forte is in managing injuries of elite athletes and general population in particular in performing ACL reconstructions, arthroscopy of Knee, ankle & shoulder. Dr Bagaria did his post graduation (MS) in Orthopaedics from the prestigious KEM Hospital, Mumbai after completing his MBBS from Govt. Medical College (GMC), Nagpur during which he received three gold medals. He then worked at Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA for a year during which he also received two international awards and diploma from SICOT, Belgium. He then undertook fellowship in advanced joint replacement and adult reconstruction in Germany and later at Perth & Melbourne in Australia. He is the first Indian to top the international Diploma SICOT exam. He has a special training in management of sports injury from Sportsmed SA, Adelaide Australia a center dedicated in managing such injuries.
