Dr. Alpana is a known Diabetologist in Mumbai.Dr. Alpana is also involved in Prediabetes diagnosis ,counselling and management.She has a special interest in treating Type 1 diabetes and Gestational diabetes (diabetes in pregnancy).Diabetic foot management is one of her specialities.Dr. Alpana Sowani is a practicing diabetes specialist since last 18 yrs. She is passionate about reducing the burden of diabetes in society. She approaches the patient as a human being rather than only a blood report, thus helping her patients to have a near normal life as they did prior to being diagnosed as diabetics.
