Surgery : Cochlear implant surgery.. I came to know about Dr. Milind Navlakhe through my audiologist for my dad.. My dad's audiologist prescribed d cochlear implant surgery for dad due to acute hearing loss in both d ears and the hearing aids were helping very little or none.. We all were gathered at a seminar cum awareness session conducted by Dr. Navalakhe, Dr Piyush Gujarathi and Mr Nikhil Wagh from Cochlear India.. There specially Dr. Navalakhe explained every technical, financial, medical, functional and human aspects regarding d implant surgery and implant processor devices.. Here, not to miss that Dr. Navalakhe did answered everybody, each question asked, with utmost patience.. We again met Dr Navalakhe as we managed our funds for d surgery.. Here again he explained everything including - n number of small small things with complete ownership, competence and humanity grounds.. We passed successfully through all d testing processes and dad arrived on OT table for d surgery.. One thing to mention that positive, ethical, moral, helpful and empathetic attitude of Dr Navalakhe towards the pre surgery surgery post surgery processes, he won d heart ♥ of my whole family and specially my dad's and mine.. Since this operation was very near to brain entities, I was a bit apprehensive, but with a positive million dollar smile and core competency of Dr Navalakhe, I was assured internally that nothing could go wrong through his hands ever.. After surgery also he welcomed us with his signature positive smile and informed us d success rate of 100% in d surgery.. Me and my family forgot all d complications we were apprehensive about with d same signature smile of doctor.. After surgery also he took utmost care of my dad personally by giving all sorts of comforts throughout d stay in hospital.. With d company of such a humanitarian doctor, the whole journey from deafness to normality is carved as smooth as possible.. Me and my family would always be grateful to Dr. Navalakhe for out of the way support and very smooth experience he gave us though he is a very high profiled doctor.. Six months ago I was not knowing d meaning of cochlea, but today because of Dr Navalakhe and team, i can surely tell any candidate to first open their eyes then only ears can be cured.. In short awareness about the whole process and doctor and whole team is the key to hearing again.. Thanks a lot Dr. Navalakhe.. My father's Mucormycosis surgery was failed. We were in deep concern & luckily we came across with the name of Dr. Milind Navalakhe in news paper article. When we visited sir (Dr. Navalakhe) he explained us regarding Mucor's condition very openly & smoothly. Eventually surgery was successful.. for me Dr. Navalakhe is not less than any God.

My father was admitted at Global Hospital for almost a month & during Covid-19 I was only allowed to stay with my father... no other visitors were allowed but we always had sir's back. He is such a Gem of a person... the way he boosted my father's confidence it helped him recover quicker than expected.

And another thing to notice even though sir used to go out of station for surgeries while returning he used to directly come from airport to hospital & visit his patients...& even after being discharged he always keep track of my father's health.

A very kind, caring and humble doctor.

I was admitted and operated for mucormycosis by Dr. Milind Navalakhe in the month of May 2021. It was a long surgery and post-surgery the hospitalisation care and cure were even longer. During this time, I realised the worth of having found a good doctor, the best for Black Fungus in town, Dr. Milind Navalakhe.

He is a busy doctor, as he is a Professor at KEM, has his own clinic OPDs and surgeries too. But he would make it a point to take a round late at night to check upon the health of all the patients. Inspite of having had a busy day, he would appear in a fresh frame of mind and respond to all our queries even at midnight in the most patient way.

He is very much dedicated to his work and explains the diagnosis and the plan of action in very simple and clear words. He is a God sent Angel to save people's lives and words are not enough to appreciate his work. I am very thankful to him for saving my life and encouraging me to fight the disease.

I have worked with Dr. Navlakhe at Nair hospital in the captivity of an Audiologist and Speech Language pathologist. So I am quite aware of his clinical acumen. Since last 1 week, my voice problem was bothering me but I had no appointment. As I was in Dadar area yesterday, I requested him on WhatsApp to see me if possible . Within in no time he responded by sending message to come to his clinic by 7.30pm. & in spite of his busy schedule he examined me and gave me assurance that it's not a big problem, just laryngitis. I was very much relieved. All my relatives and friends whom I have referred to Dr. Navlakhe are extremely happy with his treatment.
