Dr. Kinjal Gala, Matunga

My wife had pain in left shoulder and turning back left hand. Initially, she ignored the problem. But one day, due to unbearable pain, she had to leave her office mid- day. We first approached orthopaedic surgeon who ruled out fracture and asked us to take help of physiotherapist. After searching on website, we found Dr.Kinjal Sanghavi in Matunga. She first allowed patient, my wife, to explain the problem. After understanding the same, she asked her to do certain shoulder movements. Initially starting with small movements and later moving on to difficult ones, spread over various sessions,the shoulder problem was gone and let us go by continuing the exercise for next 6 weeks. Each session was around an hour long where there was active involvement of said doctor by self demonstration and ensuring correct posture of doing exercise. The best part was when there were restrictions due to covid19, she continued her weekly consultation online on WhatsApp video so as to maintain continuity of treatment, which is very vital in such cases. After 5 sessions, each

lasting one hour, wife is relieved of shoulder pain. Doctor's uninterrupted involvement while carrying out hour long session and involvement in helping patient understand the style of doing exercise/ movements is what impressed us the most.

I had been suffering with a tailbone injury since the past few years. After I started physio therapy with Dr Kinjal, I got a proper understanding of the treatment and guidance. She has been very kind, easy to talk to and helpful throughout the process. She constantly asks for feedback and gives treatments accordingly as well as very mindful about the progress I make. I am very happy about the progress I’ve made with all her help.

My experience was great. Doc was very patient with all my issues and gave good clarity on the treatment procedures. Management is also well worked out. One doesn't need to wait too long to meet the doctor.

She can take care elderly person very well. She was nicely talking to mother, explaining her all the exercises and making her do that exercise. I strongly recommend her.
