It really started sometime in 2025, when I first met Khushi Dua. Looking back now, I don't think I realised at the time how long and unusual a journey therapy with her was going to become.
I should probably start with a warning about myself before I review the therapist — I don't think I am an easy person to deal with in therapy.
And that's actually why my experience with Khushi means something to me.
If you're considering therapy with her, don't go expecting that you'll walk into the first session, explain your problems, *** ****** **** *** **** ******* ************* ****** **** ***** **** *****
It doesn't work like that.
In fact, during my first few sessions, I remember wondering where this was even going.
What I understand better now is that she was first trying to make me comfortable enough to actually be myself in that room. Not the polished version of myself. Not the version that has already organised everything into a nice explanation. Just me — including the contradictions, awkward silences, confusion and things I didn't necessarily know how to put into words.
And therapy with her hasn't always been comfortable either.
There have genuinely been sessions after which I have thought, I don't want to do this right now. There have been moments when I couldn't explain what I was thinking, moments where the questions themselves felt difficult, and even periods where I decided I needed to step away from therapy altogether.
Strangely, those moments are probably where I understood Khushi the most.
She didn't try to convince me that I was wrong for wanting a break. She didn't pressure me into another appointment. She didn't turn it into some dramatic conversation about why I must continue therapy.
She basically said: if you need the break, take it. Reach out when you're ready.
And then she gave me the space to actually do that.
Later, she checked on me. When I was ready again, the door was still open.
That sounds like a very small thing when written in a review, but when you're the person sitting on the other side of therapy, sometimes it isn't small at all.
One thing I've gradually realised about Khushi is that she seems much more interested in understanding why you think the way you do than simply telling you what you should think instead.
Sometimes that means she asks another question when you'd really prefer an answer.
Sometimes it means she doesn't immediately rescue you from an uncomfortable thought.
And sometimes you'll probably leave a session still thinking about something rather than feeling like everything has been neatly resolved.
But I think that's also the point.
Over time, therapy stopped feeling to me like going to somebody who was supposed to "fix" something and became much more about having someone patiently help me look at things I would normally avoid, dismiss, overthink or struggle to explain.
Patience, resilience and person if not a therapist is still easy to talk too, *** ******** *** **** ********** * ***** ********* **** ****** *** *****
Not performative patience. Actual patience.
The kind where someone has probably heard you contradict something you said ten minutes earlier and, instead of judging you for it, becomes curious about why that contradiction exists.
The kind where silence doesn't immediately have to be filled.
The kind where you're allowed to say, "I don't know."
The kind where even stepping away from therapy doesn't suddenly turn the relationship cold.
So if somebody is reading this while deciding whether to book their first session with Khushi, my advice would be simple:
Don't judge therapy from the first one or two sessions.
Give yourself enough time to become comfortable. Let her understand you. More importantly, let yourself become comfortable enough to stop performing and actually talk honestly.
She isn't going to give you a magical pill.
She isn't going to solve your life in fifty minutes.
And I don't think she would pretend that she can.
What she can give you is something much harder to find: a space where somebody genuinely keeps trying to understand you — including on the days when you aren't particularly easy to understand.
After knowing Khushi since 2025, going through good sessions, difficult sessions, silence, disagreements with myself, breaks from therapy and eventually finding my way back again, I think that's probably the most meaningful thing I can say about her.
I kept coming back.
And for someone like me, that probably says more than a five-star review ever could.
I would believe in her everytime mate!

I had the opportunity to seek guidance from her at a time when I genuinely needed clarity and support, and I am truly grateful to her. She creates a space that feels safe, comfortable, and completely non-judgmental.
What stands out is her ability to listen with patience and empathy, while offering practical and thoughtful insights. Over time, I found myself gaining better clarity, a calmer perspective, and more confidence in handling situations. I also found her concept of diary maintenance particularly helpful.
I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking support.

I cannot recommend Dr.Pallavi Rajhans highly enough!
From our first session, she created a safe, non-judgmental space where I felt truly heard. She patiently allowed me to pour out my unorganized thoughts, never interrupting, which gave me the security I desperately needed.
What sets her apart is her ability to help me identify my triggers and the loops I was stuck in. She understands that when you're battling depression, even getting out of bed is a monumental task, her advice was always gentle, realistic and doable.
Through a thoughtful combination of medication and guidance, she helped me regain my strength during a time when I felt I had no one else. I am deeply grateful for her professionalism and her kindness.
