I was diagnosed with puberfonia when i was 14 years old i went to a well know speech therapist clinics of South Delhi (in CR park) they did nothing and sent me home saying if it gets well it well get well by its own or it stay as is they cannot do anything they give nothing no therapy nothing.

Now iam 26 i had to struggle for past 12 years it took a tool on my confidence, personal and professional life too.

One day i was at Delhi airport i asked a gentleman naming Mr.Monsih "is this baggage drop for international or domestic" then after sometime he tapped my shoulder saying are you having puberfonia then he suggested me to go and see voice therapist, then he recommended Dr. Ruchika Mittal to me saying she is best and he was also trained under her.

Then i went to her clinic and took 6 to 8 speech therapy classes my voice has changed significantly being from feminine/ feible voice to deep manly voice.

I would like to thank Ruchika ma'am and her assistant for giving professional care.

And iam glad that i meet Mr. Monish that day and he recommended me to her.

To my amazement, my issue was resolved within just 1 month and 6 sessions of speech therapy. Ruchika Ma'am, along with Garima Ma'am, conducted the therapy sessions with utmost professionalism. Their friendly and supportive approach played a crucial role in helping me achieve a lower-pitched voice.

I was someone who had speech misarticulation problem , initially I was hesitant to take speech therapy as I thought it's too late as I was already 23,but still I went and I must say I do not regret that decision one bit

Right from the beginning from the diagnosis (which was pretty accurate) to the techniques and methods that followed in subsequent sessions, everything was perfect and well suited to my precise problem ,Ms Garima has this unique way of engaging with you where she makes you to learn and practice sounds by having an active conversation with you rather than just repeating words and phrases ,

This way it became easier for me to incorporate the newly learnt sounds in my day to day life

From a very tentative and a self doubting person,I am now at least in a position where I know I am saying things correctly and clearly now with ample confidence!

My son is a cochlear implante .During this lock down my worry was that how would my son will improve his speech and language at home as we couldn't go to the clinic .But it was a good and nice idea by Dr. Ruchika Mittal ma'am to start the online speech therapy sessions for our kids so that their safety is ensured and child will improve at home initially it was quite tough to understand as it was completely a new concept .But her staff Ms ayushi cooperation and support has helped me to be familiar and can handle things easily .My child is showing good improvement.I am still continuing my online session with her.
