I went to a spine surgeon post this *** *** *******

2yrs back this day I got discharged from Sparsh, Bommaandra after 3 days of OT and post-op observation. I had a road traffic accident(bike) on electronic city flyover.

Final Diagnosis: Grade 2 compound fracture communited distal humerus with intraarticular extension left elbow.

Treatment:

1. Open reduction & internal fixation with bicolumn plate & screws left distal humerus.

2. Open reduction & internal fixation with K-wire left lateral end clavicle.

In nutshell, I was screwed(literally) with 45 plus stitches and 250gms of metal supporting my non-existent bones. I came to Anant sir one month later after the stitches were removed. My surgeon was of the belief that I will not be able to extend or bend my arm completely as I did not exercise in my hometown, he was unhappy about it as well.

Anant sir gave me positive vibes from day 1. I am a normal overweight It guy you can imagine so obviously no exercise and a good routine. I am the one who just pays gym fees per year, but he motivated me not only to cure my hand and elbow but also for maintaining good body post that.

He is very positive, funny and most importantly knows his job well. He can guide you exercises with all the available items in the home. In a period of 3 months, I saw him with patients ranging from kids to senior citizens and athletes. I strongly recommend him for all kind of pains and stamina building courses.

PS: My surgeon was amazed to see the complete extension and contraction of the elbow.
