I am writing this review post 1 year 3 months of treatment and have not made any statement early so that patients will not be misguided.

Issue: Lower back pain due to acute sacroiliitis and Disc herniation/bulge of 11mm at L5-S1 and mild bulge at L4-5. Pain was intolerable and found very difficult to even get up from bed.

Diagnosis: Was declared as Ankylosing Spondylosis as I was HLA-B27(genetics) positive.

Consulted some of the best doctors from prestigious hospitals and was prescribed SAAZ 2 500mg morning and night and was not very happy about it. They also insisted that this will remain for the rest of my life and dose may increase or prescription can change.

Considering the above, started with a bit of research and found good reviews for Dr Vijay KR Rao and thought of giving a try even though was bit skeptical in the start.

Consulted him and he was very positive and gave me the confidence that I will be cured in 2 to 2.5 years and was not able to believe him initially as I was going through so much of pain and mental trauma.

Started following the lifestyle changes suggested from him and intake of regular medicines prescribed and now past 1 year 3 months, I am able to do everything and now regularly indulge in workouts (3 days jogging and 3 days strengthening exercises) comfortably.

I can honestly say that I am almost back to normal life but still if i go out of diet then I do experience sacroiliitis pain which I normally treat it with hot water bag instead of pain killers.

Also avoid any form of packed foods/sugar/smoking this will help to reduce pain by 50%.

A couple of years ago I developed extreme joint pains . My mobility was limited and all of sudden i was unable to walk for long and even simple tasks that involved my joints became difficult. It was then that I consulted Dr Vijay K R Rao .It was one the best decisions that I made. Dr Vijay KR Rao made a very accurate diagnosis and put me on treatment . I consulted Dr Vijay for management of SLE. Sir has been always very patient to hear my symptoms, compassionate as well as very encouraging. Vijay Sir understands the patient's problems and caters to their convenience by offering both online (virtual) consultations as well as clinic consultations. Sir offers attractive and much needed discounts on the medications through his pharmacy.

The clinic is a holistic set up where we are treated through medications, physiotherapy and yoga ensuring that we bounce back to a totally normal life as pain free as possible at the earliest. The clinic staff are also extremely polite and guide as through appointment bookings, medications, blood tests etc. The nursing staffs are extremely compassionate and caring and ensure that we have a smooth, stress free and comfortable experience during infusions.

Overall Dr Vijay and his team ensure excellent healthcare services with a compassionate human touch and the team is an absolute blessing for patients with autoimmune disorders.

My mother had joint issues from very long time and we had approached many orthopaedist in last couple of years, but pain was not managed that much. Mom also had arm issue which she got due to injury with a fall. One of the family friends recommended and we visited Divisha clinic.

I must say, doctor is very friendly and listens to your problems carefully, as we had got regular blood work done, doctor prescribed only blood work which was not part of the package and also gave couple of injections to knee joint and arm joint.

Procedure was painful a bit but it with medication, mom has been literally pain free after decades now. Currently one month is completed and I can see so much of changes with moms pain and joint.

Certainly it won’t come with lesser price as the joint meds are always on costlier side. Consultation charges are 1200 INR for first visit and 1000 INR for subsequent ones.

Considering the improvement in mom and friendless of doctor and staff with reasonable waiting time plus the positive vibe doctor provides, i would recommend doctor Vijay anytime for orthopaedic treatment with arthritis issues.

If you feel that doctor charges more, then imaging spending thousands every month for years and still not getting better.

We consulted Dr Vijay Rao for my aunt in November for her rheumatoid arthritis. Dr suggested a few blood tests and diagnosed the problem. The medicines given by Dr have been quite effective. Pain reduced by 50percent within 10 days of tablets. After that also there is a continuous improvement. Still 2 more months of tablets to be taken. We are thankful to Dr for his treatment. If any doubts/any issues Dr responds on Whatsapp messages. Along with tablets, some exercises were taught. That also has been helpful. Overall it has been a good experience so far. The centre is well maintained and staff are polite. There are lot of patients and usually long waiting time. Hence please take an appointment a few days in advance before visiting the Dr. Given that there are limited number of rheumatologists in Bangalore and some have waiting time of 2 to 3 months of appointment, it is a relief that here we can get an appointment in an week. In some other arthritis centres only junior Drs see patients n send. But here Dr Vijay himself sees the patients and discusses. We are thankful for that. It gives patients confidence. I would recommend people with auto immune disorders to consult Dr Vijay Rao at this centre.

I was suffering from backpain, saitica pain, glute pain, for over 4 years, my pain use to start mostly in the evening and got vert bad in the night. I was Not able to even turn and swist my body in the bed. I've tried medication with ortho,nuro and number of physicians and even pulmonologist as I was getting severe pain while sneezing. I was Not able to exercise or even walk with this pain. As I am from IT, my job requires me to sit for long hours and I was going to a point to change my job profile assuming my pain is due to long sitting hours. He said you have a auto immune arthritis disease with support of few blood test and Pelvis/Spine MRI. He gave me medication and had to also take few injection and the magic happened. 4 years of suffering ended in just 4 days. I'm very grateful to Him and leaving this message to those who are in similar pain to be healed.

I had scheduled my appointment for the 27th a month in advance. By the time I was at his office for the 3rd time I’d spent more than ₹22,000 in blood tests and an outrageous amount for a follow up visit.

I received three reminders of my appointment with the last one being a request to click a link to confirm.

The reminders weren’t necessary as the Dr saw me enter the appointment in my calendar.

The link took me to a blank page. I called his office and couldn’t communicate with his employee as he apparently doesn’t speak English.

I turned down other appointments and plans to see the Dr. I am in a GREAT deal of pain but I showered and dressed and my husband dropped me off at the office.

I was told AS I WAS STANDING there that he couldn’t see me and I should return the next day.

I can’t recommend this Dr

Everything is excellent specially the behaviour of all staffs and Dr V k Rao. The cost of medicine is very high special ly the Mofecon 500. Earlier it was given 70% discount but presently it is given 50% discount. A middle class family it is very hardship to afford perticular this medicine. So I earnestly request the Divisha and the Usha medical shop to allow 70% discount for next six months medicine i.e Mofecon 500. My opinion regarding to the Dr V K Rao is next to God. He returns the life of my daughter. I am fully satisfied.
