The first part of Sancheti Hospital by the name of Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation was founded in 1965, by the eminent Dr. K. H. Sancheti, while the second section for Specialized Surgery, was established in 2008. Poona Health Services, a corporate segment of this hospital was initiated to manage and supervise the services of the hospital.

Dr. Shailesh Hadgaonkar is the unit head and consultant of Spine Surgery with an experience of 15 years. Dr. Chetan Puram specializes in Trauma and Ilizarov and has 15 years’ experience. Dr. Sandeep Patwardhan is an experienced Paediatric Orthopaedic with an experience of 15 years.
