NRS Hospital, Wakad

My father got hospitalized in NRS Hospital at the end of Aug21 for brain stroke and after few days he suffered with Heart Failure as well. Our Family doctor gave reference of Dr. Narayan Survase. We read and heard a lot positive points about him, where we got impressed a lot. When my father was getting treated then simultaneously we consulted to another doctor (who operated my father earlier) from reputed Bangalore hospital as well, he also suggested / mentioned us to continue with same since things are going in correct direction.Below things are remarkable and appreciable about the doctor and NRS hospital staff, - Whichever things are required those only he suggest and he avoids unnecessary expensive things, which we liked most - He suggests if any specialist is required to get consulted - Doctor is very strict about his duties but very polite with us and describes us the situation in very clear way - If any doctor or staff only performs their regular duties then it is not impressive, but being capable and outperforming in their role whenever need, it makes a lot of difference which we have seen here - After discharge, on regular follow up, my father condition started improving day by day - Supporting doctors and staff were always available (and on prompt basis also) - Reception and medical activities are also getting driven in smoother way - On same floor, "Star Imaging and research center" is there, which makes most of the required scan/test easy - HK staff keeps hospital clean and odorless. did not find any mosquito or any other insect Few things we expect to have those are, - Cashless claim facility like from Insurance companies - Availability of Hospital canteen from where we can get patient suitable meal (some time difficult to get required meal from Ambiance hotel which is in same building) - But in other terms it was good that we avoided due to Covid-19 pandemic situation - Availability of extra bed if more than one relativeThese things doesn't matter much since we mainly focus on our loved once to get operated in right direction :)

Even after having the appointment , we had to wait for more than an hour to visit the doctor . When we went to doctor to show him our last two reports, he was not even bothered to look at the numbers properly , I was telling my problems and he hardly listened to us and just took one of problem under consideration and prescribed medicine for same problem..when we asked further that what about my other issues or any change in habit..he said you need to visit to dieticians..other things are okay..until your report figures are doubled, there is no need to worry....there was no chair to sit..u need to tell ur problems by standing and within 2 mins..he just nodded his head and not even replied us the cause , precaution, future treatment etc...then he called nurse and gave our file and ask us to leave...i was not satisfied with the consultation the I waited again to consult regarding my other issues like headache, leg pain which I had already informed him but he has not replied .when again I went inside and told what you have suggested me for my other issues then he added few more medicine...I was shocked...why he has not added at first time..after seeing this kind of behaviour..we felt this was our miserable experience with doctor..he is not even bothered about patient health and concerns..he is only sitting to increase his number of patients and earn money ...I strongly recommend to everyone never visit to doctor Narayan Survase

aweful experience..booked appointment well in advance through practo and also called clinic at 11 am for appointment at 3 pm..visited clinic at 3 pm and was told doctor will reach at 3:30, at 3:30, they extend it by 15 minutes, this went till 4:30 after which they say that doctor ghar se nikle hai abhi..I did not consult with the doctor after that and left the clinic..if u value your time, then don't visit this hospital, unprofessional attitude towards patients and no value of time..Also Practo should highlight these kind of issues about clinics which make patients wait for such long time even after booking appointments..I don't recommend this hospital to anyone..

Great place and they take good care of patients. My son was admitted due to bacterial infection. He had to be admitted due to extreme dehydration and strong bacterial infection. The hospital staffs are polite and helpful. Special rooms are very clean. Doctor is very nice.
