Dr. Sumit Chandak

A complete full stop to my hospital hopping and doctor consultation. Was fed up with no relief despite multiple investigations and treatments. Presently can eat what I want and sleep well with only half tablet of medication.

I was losing it on my kids, at times my wife too. Lockdown had really taken a toll on me, initially I managed, but later on my irritation at small things from work, kids not listening started increasing. Shared with a close friend as I would feel guilty about it later. He recommended trying talking to a professional, we searched online together and narrowed down to Dr Sumit. The appointment system surprised me as I was seen at the time I was allocated and got a good patient listening. Within a few sessions I could notice the difference, had started enjoying time with family again.

Doctor is very friendly,clinic was very neat and clean.Visited doctor for always upset stomach,sore muscles,anger outbursts as I thought all related this to anxiety or something related to stress or mind.Dr listened issue with very patiently.Currently taking precibed medicines.

Spouse busy with his work, sons in their life. Feel lonely, no one understands what I say, fed up. Mother took me to her physician who referred me here. Doctor heard me out, understood what I was trying to convey, started with some medicines. Feeling better now.

Went to loads of doctors, just wasn't getting any relief. Brother heard of Dr Sumit from his friend, got me here. I would just not be able to get out of bed, was at risk of losing my job. His treatment and talk therapy helped a lot. Now he has reduced the medicines to just once a week treatment. I insist on monthly follow ups, he says come later - you are good now. If any issues I am here to support you.

Would feel breathless in the middle of the night and not know what to do next. Visited many doctors, but all tests would be normal. Would take medicines prescribed for sometime, feel better but complaint would recur. Then one doctor asked to rule out anxiety as a cause for it. Seen in many patients he said. Was sceptical but since there was no improvement with other doctors, went to Dr Sumit to check that as well. His explaination of symptoms and treatment helped a lot. Much better now.

Recently my mother expired and we started seeing changes in behaviour of my father. Initially put it down to impact of losing life partner, but then it just starting becoming disturbing for us and annoying too at times. Spoke to our family physician, said it could be due to dementia and recommended us here. Doctor helped us understand what was happening and his medicines also were quite effective in settling dad's sleep and his behaviour to a large extent.

Was home quarantined for Covid-19, was a difficult time but was able to recover with the support of wife. However any difficulty in breathing, chest discomfort and I would get scared and rush to my family physician to rule out a heart attack or any other serious health condition. My family physician Dr Icchur referred me to Dr Chandak, he heard me out and helped me with couple of medicines. Have been better since the last 10 days now. Thank you Dr Icchur and Dr Chandak.

Was sceptical about visiting a psychiatrist, thought this is something I need to manage by myself. However dealing with work pressure was taking a toll on me. My husband supported me, encouraged me to seek professional advice to deal with it. Asked my family physician for a reference, suggested Dr Sumit.
