We consulted Dr. Suchi Smitha Behere for my father's cataract (both eyes). The cataract was quite hard in the right eye and his vision in that eye was poor. My father also has diabetes and high BP (although both are under control), so he was quite anxious about the surgeries.

I Ramesh , had undergone RK for my both eyes in 1990 at Ahmednagar, Maharashtra State. However it was not successful and i was having lots of vision issues afterwards. Lot of diffraction observed and even the computerised machine could not give exact number of my eyes.

I developed more serious diffraction issue in my left eye and hence contacted Dr Behre in Feb 2019. She informed that the cornea is thinned and it will be better and safe to do partial cornea transplant i.e. DALK. She explained the procedure very well and gave us benefits of it with almost no risk. We have done this DALK Surgery in May 2019 at Dinanath Hospital Pune conducted by Dr Suchismita Behre. She has done it with utmost care and very skilfully with no pain. Dr Behre has taken very good care of me post surgery and today my left eye is perfectly ok. Myself and my wife Mrs. Kavita Suresh Shahdadpuri were operated for cataract in both the eyes during the month of July and August, 2017 at Dinanath Mangeshkar hospital, Pune. Doctor and the staff both are friendly. The doctor explained the issue in detail. Also, didn't have to wait at all in my 1st visit and for the 2nd visit also the waiting time was less than 15 minutes.The eye drops as recommended by the doctor helped with the dryness of the eyethough I still have to get the eye scanning done which is pending as was suggested by the doctor in my 2nd visit.

On October 6, 2016 I have gone under right eye surgery (Kerotoplasty DSAFK) in Mangeshkar Hospital Pune. Surgery was done by Dr. Suchismita Behere.
