Visited for Kidney Stones in Calyx:

During lock down period , I was working from home , so while sitting down & getting up I was suffering from severe pain in somewhere in my Rt.Kidney area hence I visited one of my known doctor & undergone sonography as advised , then I got to know that there are large sized stones in Calyx of Rt. Kidney. I have experience that by taking medicines & waiting for drop the stones down is a lengthy, time consuming & painful process of no benefit , so instead of carrying the pain further I decided to remove it through operation,

Then I recalled my favourite Uro-Surgeon, Dr.Rajesh Dhake.

My past experience with Dr.Dhakes Sir is beyond my expectation & belief.

Sir accurately diagnosed the problem & adviced to operate. To operate the stones, options discussed with me & as adviced by Dr.Dhake Sir considering the situation & budget, I selected for Rt.Miniperc + DJ Stenting. Whereby Sir also helped me to take the decision. He explained me the procedure how it will be operated, also discussed pros & cons.

Let me tell you that there were hurdles & difficulties in my hospitalisation & admission process, but Dr.Dhake Sir personally looked into it & resolved it.

After completing my Operation & getting discharged from Hospital & upto removal of the DJ Stent after three weeks, I felt that I got the best possible treatment and owe my life to the Doctor and recommended treatment. He is very caring & friendly, and his utmost concern is your comfort. He is the person who is all time reachable, very humble, very honest & a gentleman.

We met Dr. Rajesh Dhake Sir in April 20. A very transparent and open minded person to talk to. My mother had a tumor in her urinary bladder. The size was larger than 3.5 cm. We all were very worried because of the tumor and its type which was yet to be known.

Dr. Rajesh Dhake Sir suggested us to let our mother undergo TURBT treatment and the biopsy report (histopathology report) would be necessary to decide further line of treatment.

It was lock-down period and the situation was quite tough out in the city with barricades and getting permission before moving out.

Amidst of that situation, I am really thankful to to Dr. Rajesh Dhake Sir that he conducted TURBT of my mother.

We were quite worried about the TURBT procedure but eventually realized that it was a necessary procedure or rather the first procedure to safeguard our patient. Dr. Rajesh Dhake Sir carried out the TURBT procedure successfully with 100% removal of the tumor. After discharge, my mother came back to her routine in couple of days, I guess.

The biopsy report came in a week's time. It was a Low Grade TCC, Non-muscle Invasive tumor.

During all this time, Dr. Rajesh Dhake Sir was very approachable, responding to our messages on WhatsApp or answering to our calls. Because of his instructions and guidelines, we were able to pass through the difficult phase. My family is really grateful to Dr. Rajesh Dhake Sir for his support.

As a precautionary measure, my mother had a Check Cystoscopy after 2 months of initial tumor resection. A very minute, smaller than 0.5 cm mass was observed at the same location. Thankfully, it was just a fatty mass and was nothing worrisome.

As a protocol, we will possibly get our mother undergo BCG Treatment to reduce further risks associated with the tumor.

If you meet or talk to Dr. Rajesh dhake Sir, you will realize why you should trust him and follow his guidelines or line of treatment. He will explain you the situation very well and at the same time put pros and cons of it very honestly.

My family is truly indebted to Dr. Rajesh Dhake Sir for his expert advice, successful treatment and support at the time of need.

In health check up I found that stone is stuck in pipe in between kidney & urethra and urine was block in right side kidney. After analyzing all lst 2-3 years report, it found that this was old issue. Not aware where to go & to whom should I consult. Did google & came across Dr Rajesh Dhake Clinic. Read all reviews but not able to take the decision. As I have to take the immediate decision, I went blindly went to Dr Rajesh Dhake. Was not aware about his history, performance etc anything.

After discussing found that I was not in wrong place. He immediately ask for CT scan & next day he explained why immediate surgery is necessary & why not through medicine. I asked very sily questions many times but he understand the mentality of patients & answered everything calmly.

After 4 days we did the surgery in Jupiter Hospital. After surgery also he was in touch & explaining me what has to be done & not to do.

After 1 months of time removed stent also which generally removes in 8-10 days. But he explained why need to keep the stent for longer time.

It was really good experience with Dr. I first time belived that reviews in google are also correct.

Overall experience with Dr. Rajesh Dhake was awesome, any time you go to meet him during, post or pre time of your surgery with any problem, He always treats you with care.

I'd referred the previous reviews of Dr. Dhake and consulted him on a case of gross hematuria. Sadly, my experience was very different. I've a case of gross hematuria (visible presence of blood in urine) Frankly, I was quite scared of malignancy in this case (there was absolutely no other symptom except the blood in urine). In my first visit, I found the doctor quite reticent (as if he was suspecting something majorly wrong, but was unwilling to speak about it), *** * ******* **** ******* *** ****** **** *** ********* ******* * ****** ***** He ordered a USG and a urine routine ***** **** **** ****** ******* **** *** ******* ******* **** ************ *** ***** ******* ******* ********* *** *** ******** ** ********* *** ****** ***** ****** **** *** ************* *** ******* referred me to a kidney specialist. What was inexplicable was that he refused to rule out malignancy but also didn't recommend any test for the same. It left me in a horrible state of stress. Only when I consulted another urologist, *** ** ********* ***** * ** **** ********** **** **** **** ******** *** *** ** ** ******* A doctor is supposed to calm the patient down, *** ** **** ***** *** ***** ******** ****** ********** ** ******* *** **** ** ** ***** ***** ** **** ******* *** ************** ** *** ***** *** it'd help future patients if he understands what's causing stress *** ******** *** ********* I still don't know what's causing my hematuria (all tests including renal tests have come back normal), but I'm definitely not consulting Dr. Dhake again.

We visited Dr Rajesh Dhake Clinic at wakad for my mother who is 62 years old and was detected multiple stones in both her kidneys, stones were measuring about 4.5 cm to 6 mm in size. She is diabetic and has hypertension since years. We consulted GP for her complain in joint pain and done with uric acid test and USG pelvic. USG report was shocking for us as she had never complained about any kind of pain, well immediately we did CT Scan to know the size and hardness of stones and got referred to Dr. Rajesh Dhake.

We had taken appointment to consult with Dr. Rajesh Dhake , by seeing the reports he straight away said we can’t do anything in this case the only solution is surgery. My mother was so scared when she got to know that she has stones and she might undergo through surgery, she asked doctor if he could remove stones with medicines, he smiled and explained her about the kidney saving treatment. After talking to Dr. Rajesh Dake she was so convinced with the way he explained the procedure and the urgency, She decided then and there to go with the surgery and in week time we have taken the date for surgery and got admitted in Jupiter Hospital.

Firstly Doctor suggested to do left side PCNL and after 15 days right one as my mother takes Ecosprin, it would be dangerous for cardiac point to stop and start it again and again so doctor ask us to see the patient condition after first surgery and plan for second in next two days of first surgery and we agreed. The first surgery went well and recovery was superb then doctor personally asked my mother if she is ready to do the right side PCNL and she said yes, in a week time she got discharge from hospital with ureteral stent on, which was removed 4 weeks after surgery in daycare procedure.

My kidney stone pain started 3(April 2019) months back which was sudden and it started in night so we visited the near by hospital which is a well known hospital where they gave me a painkillers which helped in pain being subsiding for a time and they asked me to come in the morning for sonography after which it was detected that I am suffering from a 12 - 13 mm kidney stone which is obstructing my urinary tract so I should be immediately getting admitted for treatment. So I got admitted and Dr there suggested that they need to operate on me for putting in Stent in my urinary tract so the stone would not obstruct the kidney function which I agreed to after that I was advised to get ESWL (electro sound wave) treatment for breaking the stone. So I went through that treatment for a month (5 sessions) however that did not helped I also tried ayurved medicines for a month however that did not helped either so I decided to take a second opinion and after online research I decided to visit Dr. Dhake he correctly suggested me to go for CT scan as it would help us in knowing the density of my kidney stone based on which he can suggest next course of action. So through CT scan we got to know that density of kidney stone is way high and ESWL or medicine was never going to help I needed to get operated to remove the stone. I am very happy the way Dr. Dhake explained me everything and suggested correct course of action. I would strongly recommend him for kidney stones problems as he is best for it. I visited Dr Dhake Sir for Kidney Stone in Pelvis.

I was suffering from severe pain in my left Kidney area. On the day in midnight, somehow we managed to go to nearby hospital and took pain killer ingestions.

On the next day, my brother who is a DR and pursuing his MD in medicine, call his friend who is a urologist in another city. His friend recommended us Dr Rajesh Dhake Sir.

I visited for Ureter Stone Removal

*** ****** ***** ** *** ** *** **** ********* ** ***** I had a problem of Ureter stone which was 7.6 mm in size. So I tried all options like Ayurvedic medicines, homeopathy medicines. *** ** ****** ***** So finally I consulted Dr. Rajesh Dhake in December, 2019. He is just amazing with the quality of treating patients and interaction. He listens to your problems very patiently.

He gave me some medicines for 10 days without rushing to the surgery and tried curing the issue. But somehow medicines didn't work in my case. So, the only option left for me was SURGERY. I was quite worried and tensed, but Doctor gave me enough courage to with it. So we planned Surgery @ Ratna Hospital. And the surgery was successful, he removed my stone and put a stent.......and after 10 days, he removed stent also.

Now the no pain....no stone..:)

I had kidney stone of 7x4mm stuck in ureter, just 1cm above bladder. Hospital i visited earlier suggested CT scan and undergo surgery without trying basic steps like Ultrasound and in short trying to get insurance money. I went for 2nd opinion with a great specialist Dr. Rajesh Dhake. Since i was made to believe that it will require surgery, knowing kidney stone pain is unbearable and had to continue my office work - I constantly asked him to put me under scissors. On the contrary, Dr. Rajesh explained logically and convinced me to try treatment before undergoing one. Ideally what would take 2-3 weeks, but luckily, stone came out naturally in 1 week by following his exact instructions. Also whenever pain started, i took pain killer as per his instructions (not to take too many) and immediately in half hour it would subside. Personally I am very particular in terms of the treatment I get because for me Jaan hai toh jahaan hai. Hence for individuals or foreigners or expats in Pune, from patient perspective, I would highly highly recommend him for the expertise he has in his field and down to earth nature. One guy who is after your health and certainly not after your money is what I can say for sure.
