Dr. Rajeev Nirawane

My cousin Tejas, aged 14, was diagnosed with Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis. He was completely unable to walk. My daughter was having club feet at the time of birth, however due to pneumonia twice in the first year ,we could not start early tratment . After she recovered from pneumonia we started her treatment with well known orthopedics doctor's in pune, however it was time consuming and hectic. Though we were doing daily physiotherapy and monthly followup with doctors , there was no major improvement. As per doctors suggestion We also did small operations ,plaster and bootox twice for her left leg ,as there was major deformity in her left leg , both the time we had to stay for 3 days in hospital. When plaster removed she starts walking as previous i.e. lifting toe up. It was very hard time for us.

When we have reached,there were many patients however considering emergency doctor has called us, he was very patient and friendly, he has diverted my daughters mind and did first aid and temporory plaster. My 4 year daughter had fractured her elbow and we were referred to Dr. Rajeev Nirawane by our physician who told us that he is the best specialist in handling such cases with kids. There was lot anxiety but Dr. Rajeev first calmed our nerves and assured that there is nothing to worry as such cases are seen in kids and have been treated fine. He explained the options available for treatment and we went for surgical procedure within his clinic (although we had option to do it in other private hospital that had cashless facility). The overall procedure was quick. We were asked to visit after few days and she was put with a plaster that remained for few weeks. Once plaster was removed, she was asked to do some excercises and continue with medication. After 2 months, we visited for final check up and everything was normal. The doctor was friendly with the kid so much so that she did not cry before going to the OT nor while removing the pins that was put to treat the fracture.
