My daughter was having club feet at the time of birth, however due to pneumonia twice in the first year ,we could not start early tratment . After she recovered from pneumonia we started her treatment with well known orthopedics doctor's in pune, however it was time consuming and hectic. Though we were doing daily physiotherapy and monthly followup with doctors , there was no major improvement. As per doctors suggestion We also did small operations ,plaster and bootox twice for her left leg ,as there was major deformity in her left leg , both the time we had to stay for 3 days in hospital. When plaster removed she starts walking as previous i.e. lifting toe up. It was very hard time for us.

One day upon seeing Dr.Rajeev Nirawane's interview on DD sahyadri, we decided to meet him and we visited lokmanya hospital in his OPD. My daughter was 4 yrs old at the time when visited. Dr. Rajeev had encouraged us and analysed root cause , he suggested us to do minor laser surgery for both legs so that my daughter can forget wrong pattern of walking which was registered in her mind . He then started further treatment. He did laser surgery with bootox at lokmanya hospital pune and it was only one day process. Morning at 9 AM we entered hospital and 4 PM we got discharge and after 3 weeks he then removed plaster of both the legs. Now she is almost 98% Ok at the age of 5yrs, she is not lifting her toe and walking flat on both the legs.Just need minor correction for her left leg as she is moving it inside. Dr. Rajeev had suggested us continue exercise and to wait and watch till she become of age 8. My sincere thanks to Dr.Rajeev for making us happy and wish him success for his loyal service.

My daughter had fallen while playing and immediately we have recognised something is wrong with her elbow and we has visited to Dr. Rajeev Nirwane, To be honest we have shown him as some well known hospitals which are near by our home were not having orthopedic doctor at that time (evening 8pm) so we have shown to him.My daughter was continuously crying and we were also scared as we can clearly see her dislocated hand ,finally we got one orthopedic doctor whose clinic is open that is Dr. Rajeev Nirwane on google and we have reached to his clinic. He has suggested surgery however we were reluctanct to go for surgery at that point as we never visited him. Then on next day I have shown the report and xray to our regular orthopedic doctor from our hometown,and he also suggested same, then we have decided to go for surgery. After a month now my daughter is doing very well and she can move her elbow normally so we are very happy now :)

My 4 year daughter had fractured her elbow and we were referred to Dr. Rajeev Nirawane by our physician who told us that he is the best specialist in handling such cases with kids. There was lot anxiety but Dr. Rajeev first calmed our nerves and assured that there is nothing to worry as such cases are seen in kids and have been treated fine. He explained the options available for treatment and we went for surgical procedure within his clinic (although we had option to do it in other private hospital that had cashless facility). The overall procedure was quick. We were asked to visit after few days and she was put with a plaster that remained for few weeks. Once plaster was removed, she was asked to do some excercises and continue with medication. After 2 months, we visited for final check up and everything was normal. The doctor was friendly with the kid so much so that she did not cry before going to the OT nor while removing the pins that was put to treat the fracture.

The claim procedure was also smooth. Since there was no cashless facility, the hospital ensured that all the documents were provided and I did not face any issue with the insurance claim. The staff members were also nice.

I visited the doctor for my son's twisted hand. My past experience with Doctor Nirwane for my twisted ankle was good. This time the situation was different as my son's arm got twisted and fractured while riding waveboard , he was experiencing pain and in few hrs there was swelling all around, I was in panic situation and rushed to Dr Nirwane clinic where he was diagnosed for twisted arm and Greenstick fracture. We were shocked to know about this but Doctor explained very patiently about the injury,current situation and suggested procedures required for the treatment. Though both of us were very panic, the way doctor handled the situation is commendable. After certain formalities and desired prepations, my son was given anesthesia and procedure was administered that took less than half an hour. Finally twisted arm was relocated to right position and Plaster was applied . After 21 days Plaster is removed and he is absolutely fine. I am very thankful to Dr Nirawane the way he explained us about injury and remedy. He assured us not to worry at all, you are at the right place , procedures will be done quickly and he will be fine soon.

I was having deformity (Proximal Tibia Osteotomy) in both the legs and it was diagnosed and treated by Dr. Rajeev Nirawane. I must say His knowledge & expertise in pediatric orthopedic is greatly appreciated. Dr. Rajeev's ********* *** *********t had given us a lot of confidence to go ahead with the surgery. Last year he has performed my right leg surgery successfully and as per his guidance I have been recovered completely. This year also he did my second leg surgery successfully. I expected to be in pain, but I felt completely normal just a few hours after surgery! He is very professional, intelligent, passionate and extremely good at what he does.He is very soft spoken and down to earth person. Always first listen to all the problems very carefully and accordingly give suggestions. Though I am from Mumbai, I have always been able to communicate to the doctor after my surgery and get my problems resolved. Dr. Rajeev is a gentle and experienced in profession. My duaghter had a bone fracture in left hand and consulted with another doctor but was not satisfifed with their solutio t hat they gievn after meeting. Once i met with Dr. Rajeev, received full confidence and satisfactory treatment for my daughter. On the occocation of Dr. DAY, I would like to thank you Dr Rajeev Nirvane and Dr. Shiv Agarwal for giving life to my son Tejas.. 3 weeks back Tejas met with an accident while going to the school and his right hand elbow got dislocated with multiple fracture which needs to be joined by 2 screws.. we were very worried because that was his right hand and timing was not perfect because Tejas was in10th Std.

Since Tejas was 15 years old Dr Shiv Suggested to call pedractic surgen Dr Rajeev Nirvane to perform the operation. Operation went for 1.30hrs and both the Drs came out with big smile and suggested that operation was successful and now no need to worry and after 4-5 wks Tejas will be perfectly alright.

It now 3 wks and now Tejas has already started going to the school and classes. Another 2wks he will be free from all bandage and will do regular activities..

We had consulted Dr. Rajeev for continuing treatment of my 2 year old son's Bilateral Club Feet.
