Dr. Avinash Waghmare

Dr. Avinash Waghmare practices at Mansanjeevani Psychiatry clinic in Kothrud, Pune and has an experience of 10 years in this field. He completed MBBS from prestigious Grant Medical College, J.J. Group of Hospitals Mumbai in 2005 and MD - Psychiatry from world renowned National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore in 2010. It was at NIMHANS, where he gained experience in various fascinating, diverse but complementary aspects of psychiatry including pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, comprehensive efforts for handling complex psycho-social issues geared towards achieving recovery for persons challenged with psychiatric disorders. After completion of his MD, he has worked in various areas of psychiatry like child and adolescent psychiatry, psychiatric rehabilitation at NIMHANS and consultation liaison psychiatry at St. John’s medical college, Bangalore.His areas of interest include psychiatric rehabilitation, child and adolescent psychiatry, psychiatric genetics, brain stimulation in psychiatry, course and outcome of psychiatric disorders.
