I was suffering from anxiety, depression, OCD, insomnia, low self-esteem, anger management issues for more than 5 years. I was feeling helpless, I was not able to understand what was going on with me. I was stressing out due to little things, I get angry at my family very easily, and my OCD was terrible, it was affecting my life, I was lashing out at my family every now and then and I used to cry for several hours due to OCD. “Hi everyone. I’m 57 years old male person. I came into contact with Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni ( Neuro Psychiatrist ) in the month of September. Earlier in the month of July, I started with some strange, unusual, restless & uneasy feelings. At that time following were the symptoms which I’ve noticed :

Low energy, Depression or Sadness, Lowered self confidence, difficulty in concentrating, Insomnia or difficulty in sleeping, decreased motivation, Scariness, Throbbing in the chest & variation in the BP.

For the proper diagnosis & the treatment, I went to the local Physician ( a friend of mine ) & on his advice to the Cardiologist as well. Also I’ve carried out the several tests they both have asked me to get done. The reports shows that all the test results were normal. After having the consultation & counselling for few minutes she immediately came to know what the problem is & started the treatment & she asked me to follow the treatment sincerely & with dedication, give me few months & I’ll make you mentally so strong & confident as you were earlier used to be so. And you don’t believe me, within very few days I’ve got the positive results & seen too much improvement in myself. Henceforth I continued her treatment till today very sincerely. I have never understood the hype and stigma or taboocreated around psychological illness.. i believe its as normal as a normal fever.. but yes needs much more care than i guess any illness would need because the mind is the root cause of many other illness too.. complicated than a cancer which atleast a chemotherapy can control.. but the mind is soo diverse and unpredictable that it needs care and proper treatment and counseling and medications incase of some chemical imbalances.. its like vitamins of mind.. if we don't shy away from flaunting a vitamin D3 or B12 supplement then why to avoid taking medicine and talking and expressing about the problems of mind.. expressing does half the work.. and no one other than a psychiatrist or a psychologist can guide you better.. they even help the family members to cope up and understand the issues going on with an individual.. From my personal experience I would say don't supress your thoughts, if you feel you aren't fine mentally go and see a Psychiatrist.. there is no stigma attached to it.. the more we talk the more the society would come to terms with it and accept it as normally as it accepts a cough and cold.. or else the psychosomatic effects would cripple you down.. believe ne psychological issues are as real as breathing and as complicated as a doctor's handwriting.. so help yourself.. chop off the 'what others will say' thought.. and visit the doc who can really help you overcome your problem..

I was quite reluctant to visit a doctor and tried hard to get better on my own but in vain. atlast took appointment of Mam after quite a lot of research. glad that I went and started the treatment. she is really a good lady. heard what my issue was and started appropriate treatment with minimum medications. writing my review after completely recovering. *** ** *** ***** would advice any one suffering from such issues to visit her. always remember these kind of issues can happen to anyone. they are just like some disease and need on time and proper treatment to get better.

I visited Dr Ashwini for my mother's treatment. My mother was facing anxiety and insomnia issues since 3-4 months due to which she had transformed into a very insecure and unhappy person which leaded to other problems. That's when I decided to consult a psychiatrist for my mother. On our first visit, Dr Ashwini heard all the problems that my mother faced with lot of patience and care. She assured by mother that she would be completely fine within a month. She suggested natural ways to help my mother calm down along with medicinal treatment with no side effects at all. My mother started recovering within a month and now that we have completed 2 months of treatment, she has recovered completely with no anxiety and insomnia issues at all. Hi, I visited Dr Ashwiniji right before Covid. Before she prescribed medicines she asked me to get blood tests done. I was suffering from severe anxiety, stress and uneasiness. Infact I have been overly stressed about everything. She understood the situation within the 1st meet. What I like is she is extremely patient and a very good listener. I started having medicines, and the activities suggested by her. Within a span of 1-1.5 months I started noticing a change in me. I became slightly calmer. Especially during covid where ther was so much uncertainty around me I was gaining self awareness. I started having video calls with her every month. A non judgemental doctor and very patient doctor. It's been almost a year since I am seeing her and continue to do so. She makes me see the good in me. Today I feel calm, composed and I feel I can handle situations and daily routine much better. I maintain a gratitude journal, diligently follow the activities suggested by her and continue the medicines. The medicines are in such minute doses that they do not affect the body (I have got blood tests to check the same). I truly recommend her. Have faith in her and consider her as your mirror image and I bet you witness miracle. This is such a personal review and I am glad I went to her for my stress and panic attacks.

Hello All, I was suffering from anxiety from June-2018. Initially, I thought that I have some major heart problem because of High BP. Even though after taking the medication of 7 to 8 months for BP it is not coming to normal. Cardiologist suggests some test and event that test are also negative. So, it was becoming difficult for me to understand the problem and as the day was passing the same time fear factor/negative feelings also started increasing.

Then my cardiologist suggests me to visit Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni once. I have visited her clinic. I must say a doctor is very friendly and understand the exact problem what we are suffering from. After taking the medication given by her, I started feeling better and better each day. And after one month, she asked me to stop taking BP tablets as well.
