Dr. Abhimanyu Sengupta

I got Dr. Segngupta reference from my office colleague in 2013; who was going to his Apple Tree clinic Aundh from last 8 years and I am visiting him from 2013 till date for both of my kids after their birth. So I am sharing my experience with him for almost 10 years including Covid-19 time.

Dr. Sengupta is highly knowledgeable and have vast experience in pediatric treatment, and I would say he is one of the best Dr. in pediatric treatment in Pune. Throughout this decade time, for every appointment he gave my kids enough time to check thoroughly and discuss the complete diagnosis and treatment guidelines with me, before he will even write the prescription. The best part of his treatment is that he always prefer to start with stage 1 treatment guideline; where he will suggest to avoid antibiotic and heavy use of medicine; provided child condition is not bad. Sometime when we visited him he asked me why you consulted/informed me so late because he is more careful and worried about my child health than us. He is so kind that whenever we visited for my daughter then he never missed to asked about my son health and his growth, in all respect and suggest; if anything required. The only downside is that he dont pass any risk to patient by doing wait and watch for long time and keep trying different medicine for any of the issue; if things are not improving in couple of days/weeks (on case by case basis, based on the issue) then he will suggest next course of medication; which sometime make parent worry but as we are visiting him from last 10 years so we know him that this is his way of treatment and it is good to make parent aware about the next course of action before time if situation will not improve; but this have little stress factor associated; which sometimes not go well with parents. But during last 10 years, we never had a thought to go for any second advice for any of my child heath issue; whereas I am living near by Surya Child hospital, *** * **** *** **** *** ** **** *** ********* **********

That's why I would say he might be your first choice if you are looking for the best pediatric doctor in Pune in all respects. Thanks Doctor! for all your support and help during this Covid-19 period; which keep us relaxed by virtue of all your help and support.

Dr Sengupta is just wonderful in my experience. Going to him with my daughter for more than 9 years now and have always got the best treatment and behavior. Sir is very precise and give the exact treatment needed. He is always current on vaccinations. Will always recommend him to anyone looking for a child specialist!

I am writing this with a very heavy heart. We were travelling to Pune with my sister’s 9-month-old baby, and for two days he cried in pain nonstop. As worried family members, we rushed to Ankura Hospital and consulted Abhimanyu Gupta, hoping for help, comfort, and proper care.
