Dear Pankaj, Thank you for the biased and one sided feedback. But let me tell you my side of the story. You came to the clinic before your scheduled time where I already had a patient consultation going on and you had to wait for sometime as the patient's plaster was to be done. Wait time was never an hour, I have cctv recordings to show that. You were just upset that you had to wait and you expressed the same while in the consultation room. So you wanted an argument to happen. I patiently listened to your complaints about finger pain and examined the finger muscles, asking you whether you did some exertion or extra activities involving hand to which you denied. Later on when I asked further, you said that you used to play badminton 2 years ago and just recently started playing 3 weeks ago and played 2 hours 3 days back to which I said you are not going to have same muscle strength what you had 10 years back so you need to warm up and then slowly increase the duration of play. This made you think I said you're old and ageing, which obviously you are but you didn't want to listen to that and started a heated argument about how you waited for 1 hour and started demeaning doctors saying derogatory words, and statements " Doctors think they're above all and they expect patients should wait for hours etc " to which I even said that you could have cancelled the appointment and went to another doctor. You replied there was only me available on a Sunday so you chose me, so I wanted to make it clear to you that even I have a family who are waiting for me at home but still I'm here seeing patients from the morning and just because you came picking up your wife from airport and reached the clinic earlier, (which you only said to me),doesn't mean you'll be seen before the patient inside finished his consultation. You're just feeling entitled to be seen at the said time of appointment just because the booking in Practo, is totally wrong. there is always a waiting time for every patient and on Sundays there is more than normal rush in the clinic which you didn't want to listen and understand. Even when I said you can cancel the appointment and visit another doctor you knew nobody is available on Sundays so you didn't say anything about it rather you said to the assistant that you'll wait. I was busy seeing the patients since morning so me being late is out of question, you're just trying to malign the reputation for satisfying your ego, that I told you the truth that you shouldn't be doing over exertion which you too agree, you did. I don't know why you hold grudges against the doctors which is clear from your statements in the clinic such as "you should sit home on Sundays, not doing any favour on me". " You doctors think you're above all and take patients for granted deliberately making them wait for hours ". Even when I said to you whether you want to get treated or just want to argue you continued ranting about the wait time and used derogatory statements which I cannot put here. Even after such terrible experience I gave you the prescription and explained you each and every medicine dosage and frequency to take it because I always want my patients to get better even though they are prejudiced. I would expect you to recover soon with the same medicines. Highlighting the waiting issue rather than the treatment shows your biased and opinionated nature. I hope you get well soon.
