Recently I had a Laproscopic hernial repair done at Columbia Asia. Since I am not originally from Pune, I relied on my friends/colleagues to refer good surgeons. After getting a couple of good recommendations from my friends for Dr. Sudhir Jadhav, I felt confident consulting him regarding the surgery (I had also done some online research and felt good about the choice). When I met with him, he came off as a very competent yet down to earth surgeon and explained the whole issue, options, pros and cons, including being frank about recovery, risks, and cost. Even though the decision was clear, he made it feel like I always had the final choice. I had decided on Columbia Asia as it’s a well rated hospital and very close to where I live. It does have well known resident surgeons, but yet, I decided to go with Dr. Sudhir (who operates in multiple hospitals – Motherhood, Jehangir, Sahyadri etc). He took personal interest and helped by coming with me to complete all pre-op testing and gave all instructions to prepare, etc. When I was in pre-op room and some of the staff found out I was getting Hernia surgery, couple of them told me Dr. Sudhir was one of the best Laproscopy surgeons and that I was in safe hands. He used to work in the hospital before. All this built up my confidence. Even after the surgery, he provided good care helping with initial walk, answering all questions for recovery etc. His quiet confidence helped me trust him with all the advice he was giving me. Happy to say all went well, I got discharged the next day and had a follow-up a few days later. It’s been 3 weeks since the surgery now and I feel good being able to carry on with normal activity.

Overall, I have nothing but gratitude towards Dr. Sudhir Jadhav for taking care of me and I sincerely wish him the best. I’d be happy to strongly recommend him for any Laproscopy surgery not just for his skills, but also his ability to relate to each patient on a personal basis.

Disappointing Follow-Up and Lack of Resolution

I recently visited Dr. Nikheel Pansare for my mother’s follow-up appointment, as her earlier treatment had provided no significant relief. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing for several reasons:

The initial treatment plan did not yield any significant improvement in my mother’s condition, prompting us to seek further consultation.

Dr.Nikheel Pansare advised an MRI and NCV test, which we promptly completed. However, after seeing the test results, they ****** referred us to another doctor based on the NCV test and ignored the original issue.

Despite the test results, Dr. did not address the primary concern that brought us in for the follow-up. When I asked about my mother’s original lower back pain issue, suggested continuing with the same treatment plan, even though it had already proven ineffective and same they did mentioned in prescription.

The follow-up process was ****** ******** **** no clear explanation or next steps provided.
