Want to share recent delivery experience at Motherhood hospital under Dr. Madhuri

We had a C section planned, but a day before, water broke and we got admitted to the hospital. Team of doctors under Dr. Madhuri ran some checks/tests to ensure everything was okay. Soon after, labour started naturally. After a few hours, pain intensified and we requested Dr. Madhuri to perform a C section. However based on the baby head position and few other parameters, she advised to go for normal delivery along with epidural as an option.

Epidural was a life saver! Pain reduced drastically after taking it.

Finally after 16 hrs of labour made it through normal delivery.

Based on my overall experience, to all expecting moms, I would suggest:

1. If you want to go for a planned C section, do so when your doctor suggests. We delayed the C section by a week and our plan failed a day before!

2. If/when doctor suggests, TAKE THE EPIDURAL FULLSTOP!

I had minor headaches and back pain for a day or two but that is absolutely manageable.

3. For husbands and family members: If you plan to go for a normal delivery there may be a time when the patient loose hope due to extreme pain and begs for a C section. Do as doctors say. If they advise to wait, motivate the patient anyhow. They might curse you at that moment, but will definitely thank later.

4. Completely surrender to your doctor on the d day. It may be new for you, but they have been doing it daily and for years!

Bonus tip: In case of normal delivery, the bottom most suture might pain more than others while sitting. We consulted Dr. Madhuri and she removed the suture. It was a lot of relief after doing that 1 min procedure.

Your pregnancy will be smoother, healthier and Normal if you choose a good doctor. I recommend Madhuri mam. She is an amazing doctor.

It's a long story but I will keep it short. We were planning to have a baby(first pregnancy) and visited cloud-9 for all pre tests and I mentioned my cycle delayed by 45 days and doctor asked me to go pre pregnancy tests during the pre pregnancy tests suddenly in one ultrasound report I got to know I have tumour on my left ovary and doctors asked to do all the cancer and malicious tests. We went through all the tests and all were negative after 3rd visit doctor asked me to go for sonography as my cycle delayed by 60 days and suddenly doc says u are 5 weeks pregnant which was bit surprising and confusing that in all the test and ultrasound how doctors missed the pregnancy and not even thought about and I done the MRI during these tests so was scared about my pregnancy,

So we decided to visit Madhuri mam and she deal with us very calmly without making any panic, saw all the reports and asked us to focus on pregnancy and consult us pretty well during complete pregnancy. It was worrisome for us once we got to know about cyst in ovary and to go along with the pregnancy, but Thanks to Madhuri mam it all went smooth for making us understand how to go about it & guided us well throughout the pregnancy process.

But the best part which you expect from your doctor , My delivery was at 2:37 AM and she was present during my labour pain and delivery. It was a normal delivery and happened because of Madhuri mam and her team. She kept encouraging me and kept my confidence up to go with normal delivery as we were planning for Normal delivery, Honestly I gave up during labour pain but she never did. It's a vital role that she and her team played that day.

our story for planning pregnancy upto delivery. When we started our family planning, we looked up and came accross Madhuri mam. We are consulting mam from day one of our planning upto delivery. She is very approachable, calm and listens to all our doubts. She will also put her strong foot down if we do not listen or follow her guidance which is completely necessary. I had a PCOS history long back and we also started our family planning late. We conceived within 4 months after we started consultation with mam. Throughout my pregnancy she provided us lot of support and since there was pandemic outbreak, she extended all her guidance and support via video consultation, online platform to ensure that I get all possible help without stepping out ensuring my safety. During pregnancy, I had developed gestational diabetes and also high blood pressure in third trimester. Madhuri mam helped us with proper medication and constant monitoring to deliver our baby. My baby was also growing three weeks ahead of schedule due to my diabetes. She guided us through delivery options with proper pros and cons so that we could take decision and we had our baby delivered healthily with her support at onset of 38th week. it was very fortunate that mam guided us to deliver at 38th week since the baby had consumed meconium in womb and would have been too critical if we had delayed by any means. So thanks to mam for that. Even post delivery, she was motivating and constantly checking since I faced lot of shivering and chest pain after delivering. We will definitely recommend her to all who are planning or looking out for gynae in their pregnancy journey. *** ** *** *****

Amazing doctor! We were searching for the **** gynae around as it was our first pregnancy and we found about Madhuri Mam from my friends and also by reading reviews abput her online and yes the reviews proved so right about her. She is ** ************ *** well experienced in her field. ****** ***** ******** *** ***** *** **** * ******* ** *** **** ** ***** ******* *** ******* ******* she explains well about everything and tries to make would be mothers strong. I remember that she had said to me that "I will make you very strong by the end of your journey"and trust me she did, not only physically but mentally also. she would not prescribe unneccesary medicines. Our journey went very well under Madhuri Mams supervision and I must say that my delivery was also managed so well and proactively by her and her team that we cant thank any less to all of them that I could deliver normally (unexpectedly, but Mam made it possible flawlessly). The only problem that I suffered was post delivery unbearable head and neck pain due to use of epidural but that was also managed very well and post 7 days, I feel so better. Madhuri Mam's working is incomparable, although she might seem strict and sound straight forward but that is required and after choosing her as our gynae, we trusted her and followed her as a mentor which was the best decision we made and we will continue to follow her in future and I strongly recommend her to others also.

P.S. I dont genrally write reviews but this has come directly from our hearts and I want to help other new would be parents too in selecting their doctor.

Thanks again Mam!

My wife Pinjal Jain delivered baby boy on 14th September and it was normal delivery even though her height is around 4'10 - 4'11 only.Below is her story and reason why choosing Madhuri madam was very good decision.

We found Madhuri madam from online reviews and from beginning, we took consultations from her. Our goal from beginning was to have normal delivery. Our family from hometown insisted that we come to hometown only for delivery but we knew that there are very less chances of normal delivery in home town looking at recent cases so we chose to stay in Pune Madhuri madam believes in precautions rather than cure.

From beginning she insisted in not gaining too much weight, controlling Sugar and BP for normal delivery.

My wife also did daily excersises for normal delivery which is extremely important.

One day before delivery, my wife started having light contractions in morning, around 4pm we went to hospital and we found out that she was only 1cm dilated. We came back to home as my wife was very scared of hospitals and we thought it is better to spend her time with family for few more hours. We went back at 9pm and she was 2 cm dilated. Doctors decided to let everything happen naturally till next morning. From 8cm dilation, she was given some injections for faster dilation and

With proper guidance of Madhuri Madam our baby was born.

Personally I like that Madhuri madam is very committed to work and she will always push you for normal delivery. So thank you mam for your guidance.

Dr. Madhuri is an exceptional gynecologist, unparalleled in her care and expertise. Initially, we found her strict during our first visit and perhaps even rude during the second, but as we progressed through the treatment, we realized that her approach was solely focused on ensuring the well-being of both myself and my baby. She doesn't sugarcoat when everything is progressing smoothly but jump into action with solutions at the slightest sign of complication.

Although having pregnancy in age of 37, throughout the first seven months of my pregnancy, we actively followed her medication and dietary advice, resulting in a smooth journey. However, entering the early stages of the eighth month, I encountered a concerning bleeding issue, posing a significant threat. Despite conflicting diagnoses from different radiologists, Dr. Madhuri's extensive experience shone through as she persisted in her treatment, prioritizing both the proper development of the baby and the prevention of pre-term delivery.

The subsequent days of bed rest from 32nd week were really challenging, but Dr. Madhuri's unwavering care and constant vigilance provided us with reassurance. Whether it was day or night, weekday or holiday, she remained dedicated to monitoring my condition closely. By the 32nd week, my cervical length had significantly shortened, indicating clear signs of impending preterm delivery. Using her expertise, Dr. Madhuri successfully extended my pregnancy from the 32nd week to the 36th week.

As we reached the crucial 36-week mark and opted for a C-section, Dr. Madhuri and her team implemented every necessary precaution, culminating in the safe delivery of a healthy baby. Deciding on the emergency C-section was a tough choice for me, but Dr. Madhuri supported and encouraged me to stand firm in my decision. Her comprehensive post-delivery counseling further equipped us for the journey ahead with our newborn.

We are immensely grateful for Dr. Madhuri's expertise and compassionate care, and we extend our heartfelt blessings to her and her family.

I would like to thank Dr Madhuri from heart for making my pregnancy journey a memorable one.. it was a roller coaster ride but she ensured it was made easy only because of her experience in making right decision at right point in time...my pregnancy was fine until 7 months and once we decided to go back to my hometown to continue the rest part...doctor advised to take one last doppler with growth scan before I leave to hometown... AC lag was detected at 28 weeks scan and weight of baby is only 800 gms nd doctor advised that traveling is not a good option for now and the baby is a IUGR...we always wanted to have the delivery done by Madhuri mam from initial days...adding to this AC lag we quickly dropped the plan of travelling to native..Thanks to almighty and Madhuri mam that we took the scan as advised by mam at right time so that we continued the delivery with her...Mam put me on high protein diet, pranayamam along with right medication and asked to monitor the growth every two week until we reach 36 weeks...but at 34 week doppler changes were developed and asked to monitor growth for every week and mam wanted to pull the pregnancy till 37 weeks atleast..but at 36 week the doppler changes were severe and baby weight was 1.8kg, she advised to take the baby out immediately as waiting for another week is not a good option.

Also as baby weight is so less she said it's high risk of delivering baby via normal delivery as baby heart beat might get reduced if we go for normal and as suggested we accepted to go for C section...I was overwhelmed to listen to my baby boy crying for first time on 6th Oct and was transferred to NICU immediately and monitored for next 3 days...After 3days baby was given to us and he was healthy

Motherhood pediatricians took good care of the baby in NICU and informed us very well about progress of the baby everyday...

Once you consult Madhuri mam trust her completely ..Her treatment speaks more than words...you and your baby will be in safe hands...

We have been blessed with our baby boy on 4th August 2022 and would like to share my experience with Dr. Madhuri Burande Laha. She is one of the best in her field and we can vouch for her. We are happy to deliver the baby under her supervision. We have chosen her randomly from good reviews over Google and Practo, plus her clinic and Motherhood hospital are nearby to our abode. I have consulted her since 9 weeks of pregnancy until delivery. She has always encouraged me to stay active with pre-natal yoga and walk and favours normal procedure for delivery. Diet recommendation was also simple which consist of normal healthy homely food. I remember she has said to me, "You are not ill/sick, you are just pregnant." I just loved her straightforward nature.

After 37 weeks she has asked me to increase the frequency of squats and walking for onsetting of pain naturally. But even after 39 weeks I did not get any pain or dilation but weekly CTG reports were fine. My blood pressure has started increasing which has raised concern. Due to the increasing blood pressure she advised me to go for induced labour 5 days before EDD. Even after 12 hours of induced labour pain, there was nil cervix dilation. Although the baby head was down, it was not coming into the birth canal. As per her judgement, we went ahead with c-section as normal procedure seems difficult with increasing BP and no dilation.

We are happy with her judgement and I believe it's a wrong notion that in India the doctors always go ahead with cesarian delivery. From our experience it was a genuine case where c-section was required, although I was physically active before and during the pregnancy.

Dr. Madhuri laha from Motherhood hospital,

I highly recommend Dr. Madhuri laha.

Always gives priority to patients first and everything else later. We started Visiting her during third month of my pregnancy with few complications.

she gave us the strong positive vibes n strength to continue the pregnancy with some complications n risk.

And today just because of her extra ordinary talent of handling high risk pregnancy with lots of complications we are blessed with our little bundle of joy with Normal delivery inspite of there is a major possiblity for the C-section in our second delivery since our first delivery happen via C-Section.

I will highly recommend Dr. Madhuri laha , she is very calm, friendly , gives quality time to patients with a positive vibes which is the most important thing for any patient.

Her decision making power is spontaneous and her inclination is always towards to have Normal Delivey before going for C-section.

We are very much thankful to Dr. Madhuri Laha mam for my normal delivery. When we (me and my husband) got to know that I am pregnant, We were quite conscious to whom we should consult as now a days it is rare to expect a normal delivery. We were being told by our close ones that most doctors give costly medicines and go for C section delivery. My husband was in a search of gynaecologist and we came across Madhuri mam's profile and that she tries her best for normal delivery. We visited her, and we are very much satisfied by her patient handling attitude. She gives very less medicines, yet she is very strict for our own sake. On the day of delivery she was making me comfortable by explaining to me the things that she was doing, giving moral support to my family members who were waiting outside (im)patiently.😄I strongly recommend Dr. Madhuri Laha mam to anyone who wishes for normal delivery. She talks less, sometime she scolds you for carelessness, but takes care of you like a family member. We are very much thankful to mam. 😊
