Dr. Shyam Sundar Reddy Parupati is a young and dynamic Interventional Cardiologist based in Hyderabad. He has worked at Global Hospitals (Lakdikapool) and is currently attached to Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (Kondapur). In addition he visits several other hospitals and clinics, as highlighted elsewhere on this website.Dr. Shyam Sundar Reddy completed his MBBS from the Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal, in 2002. He then obtained an MD (Internal Medicine) postgraduate degree from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, in 2006. He further went on to do his DM in Cardiology (2008-10) from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum.Dr. Shyam Sundar Reddy's main areas of specialisation are radial angioplasty, peripheral interventions and paediatric interventions. He is keenly interested in all aspects of interventional cardiology and paediatric cardiology. As a professional, he is focused on patient care, research and teaching. Besides having regularly travelled to various international conferences related to his area of work, Dr. Shyam Sundar Reddy has also contributed to a textbook, made presentations and delivered lectures. He has also obtained specialised certification associated with his line of work over the years. Earlier in his career, he was the recipient of the GN Mathur Prize and Gold Medal for best undergraduate student in Physiology.
