My wife, Sharmeela was suffering from Osteoarthritis related Knee Pain(both knees) since long. Prior to our visit to Dr. Kushal Hippalgaonkar in the last week of October 2021 we had consulted a number of Orthopaedic Doctors who all had suggested Total Knee Replacement (TKR) Surgery. Unfortunately none of them could explain us properly about this Surgery and hence our confusion went on increasing with each Doctor visit. It was only Dr. Kushal who explained us in a very simple but effective way about TKR Surgery and the immediate need for my wife to undergo this. Having got convinced we went in for surgery in the first week of December 2021.
Dr. Kushal Hippalgaonkar himself performed the surgery at Sunshine Hospitals. My wife got discharged within a week. Today after nearly 2 months she is able to walk normally without any pain. Me and my wife would rate this surgery as 100% successful one.

Dr. Khushal is a really great doctor. He examines the problem so very well and give the perfect solution.
My case history:
I met with an accident in Dec 2014 and had some ligament issue, got mostly recovered through physiotherapy in the meantime.
Since a couple of years I am experiencing issue to walk, fell down couple of times due to instability.
Dr. from Apollo made me go through MRIs and recommended for immediate spine surgery.
When I met Dr. Khushal in 2021 for 2nd option regarding this, he told me that my problem is not ortho, it is Neuro. Later I had a Brain MRI as recommended and diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis - a neuro disease. So, started the treatment for my actual problem.

My first consultation was with Dr. Gurava Reddy in November, where he suggested to try and treat my knee pain with medication and physical exercise. Visited post three months course, Dr. Gurava Reddy had suggested consulting with Dr. Kushal in February.
My experience with Dr. Kushal Hippalgoankar was very friendly and informative. He double-checked the results of my MRI with the radiologist to give me an assured answer, which was Arthroscopic Meniscectomy. His assistant (Mr.Brahmananda) was also very helpful in guiding me through the process.
On 11th March 2022, my surgery took about 2 - 2 and a half hours. At my request in the OT, the doctor shared the inside view me my knee joint on the screen. He also explained the procedure he had conducted and that my ACL was completely intact (which was feared to be partially damaged in the MRI). I had a cashless experience through my insurance (paid a minimal amount for the procedure).
