Dr. Hema Nalini Kandru

Dr. Hema Nalini has been a God send to us. We were lucky to get a chance to consult Dr. Hema at one of the leading maternity hospitals in hyderabad , where our daughter was born as underweigun and slightly pre term. 20 months later, she has become one of the most important people in our lives. Dr Hema spends good quality time with the patient and the parents.. So much so that she can even recall what are the favourite toys to placate the baby after a vaccination. She has always been there to guide us on what food to give, how to stimulate the baby and how to make her stronger. The best part about her - she puts a lot of thought before prescribing the medicine. She always makes sure to get to the root of the issue rather than just looking at a short term solve.

For the first time, I have seen a doctor asking about complete history of the child before going for diagnosis. Till now all pediatricians just ask the problem and treat it. But, she has asked from conceiving till delivery, each and every detail. Spent lot of time to understand the case. Someone mentioned in one of the reviews that she feels more like a family doctor. I completely agree with that. Though, her clinic is little far from our place, we have decided to go with her consultation only in the future.

******** ********** **** *** **** ******* We are out of station parents who wanted our child to be evaluated for ADHD.A Dr. we had consulted for another health issue had referred us to CDC at Ankura Hospital Nankramguda..After paying the consultation fee of Rs.1500 we waited for more than an hour before we were ushered into her chambers. A brief conversation ensued about the child's academic performance ,our household scenario after which we were given evaluation forms which both of us filled. We were then told to get those forms filled by our child's schoolteachers too which they did within 15 to 20 minutes. The Dr. seemed to be in a rush .She tried to gauge whether our child has an eyesight problem by playing catch with him which he could not as he hasn't played cricket but does play football and other games.It did not occur to her that might be the scenario, so in her haste to postpone she advised us to get my child's eye checkup done in a specific ********* ** ********* *eye hospital .We told the Dr. since the evaluation forms were filled by us as well as his teachers ,we could get the evaluation done today itself but she said it wasn't possible although we told her we were leaving the day after. She told us to come the following day. Seeing no option, we agreed and left but were astounded when the receptionist told us that we would have to pay Rs.1500 again to complete today's consultation the next day. ** ******* **** **** ** *** *** **** ** **** **** **** * *** ** **** *** ************ *** ***** ********** **** *** **********
