I have been visiting Dr.Venkateshwar Rao Deshineni garu for OCD issues. My treatment journey with him started after an extensive search and research about a good doctor in my area in this related field. I have narrowed down my choices and visited all of them. I am extremely happy that I chose Dr. Venkateshwara Rao garu as my Psychologist. The psychologists I have visited prior spent little time to understand the problem but jumped on treatment and treamtment costs. So, I was little hesistant and worried meeting Dr.Venkateshwar Rao garu. But to my surpise, my first appointment gave me enough confidence to move on to further sessions. He knows how to make the patient comfortable and get as much information as possible. He is unlike others by not jumping into treament + costs associated to beging with. He explained me all the possible treatment options and cost and the time it would take. He set the expectations very clear before I move forward. Interstingly every session, starts with very casual conversation about things happening around. In my opinion, this is the best way to make anyone comfortable before you starting the actual counselling. So far, I made great progress with his counselling techniquies. I can't thank him enough for the special, excellent care he has been providing.

Dr Rao is very patient and friendly and has been guiding me with life and career issues for the last couple of months. The advice provided is of high quality scientifically sound and every session ends with concrete action items to be implemented and the results are measured in subsequent sessions. The key atleast for me was when he made me understand that small wins over time lead to desired results and we don't have to be perfect.

I have been attending the sessions for the last few weeks and found the sessions very helpful.The doctor is very empathetic and helpful.I was able to express my problems freely.The sessions and the inputs are very valuable. I feel more confident to face challenges after attending the sessions.
