Precision Medicine in Oncology

Precision Medicine in Oncology is a cancer specialty clinic promoting personalized medicine in India. We provide virtual consultation to all cancer patients. We will review the case history, clinical findings, lab tests, radiological imaging reports such as CT and PET CT scans to assess the nature of the disease. Followed by pre-test counselling we offer cancer diagnostics test based on tumor tissue biopsy for tumor mutational profiling. We have launched liquid biopsy tests for breast, prostate, lung and colorectal cancers. It is a simple blood test that detects the circulating tumor cells in the blood. This test has to be performed before starting the treatment, after completion of treatment (chemo/radio/surgery) and one month later for follow up. This gives clear indication whether the treatment is working or not. Based on these tests we offer post-test counselling to further modify the treatment plan and long term management such as cancer surveillance and prevent the development of secondary metastasis.
