The consultation was booked through Practo for ₹1000, and I had assumed it would be a one-hour session, as is standard in most therapy practices. However, the doctor ended the session at the 30-minute mark, and that’s when I realized the duration was shorter than expected—this detail was not mentioned on the Practo listing.

During the session, while I was opening up about some sensitive personal experiences, a staff member walked into the room unannounced. The doctor paused our conversation to confirm with the staff whether I had paid for the session—which I had. This interruption happened mid-session and felt inappropriate, especially considering the nature of what I was sharing. Such administrative checks could have been handled before or after the appointment, without disrupting the therapeutic process.
