***[Important] Read this review before visiting this doctor/clinic***

I took my mother to this clinic for her high diabetes and thyroid.

First of all, they don't accept credit cards for payments as it costs them around 2% on consultation i.e. 600. When I asked for reason of not accepting the credit cards, the person rather chose not to answer me and showed me the QR code.

When we entered doctor's room on our turn, the first thing doctor said (when I showed the patient's investigation history to him) was " We'll not accept outside reports next time" when I asked why, he said "I don't believe on outside reports". No greeting, no probing, no relation building with patient, no empathy nothing.

When I showed my concerns that a patient is free to get himself tested from anywhere he wants. The reports which I showed to him was neither older ones nor from any lab just like that. That lab was NABL accredited and followed all government's guidelines. When I highlighted these terms, he (the doctor) then put even NABL certification ** ******** ****** *** ***** **** ** * **** ** **** ** * ****** ****** **** *** *** ** ** ******** *** ********* ** ********* ** *** ****** ****** *** *** *** * ***** ****** *** ****** ***** ***

I got surprised and disappointed at the same time because I didn't really expect this from such a senior doctor who is famous in his google reviews ****** **** **** **** for his treatment and behavior. I didn't get chance to comment on the treatment part (as I never visited him again) but patient handling, behavior and general etiquettes were something which disappointed me specially when I travelled 10kms to meet him eliminating other doctors near me.

Nevertheless, he continued pouring his wisdom on us tagging a patient "educated" who agreed to get tested from his clinic after the outside reports were put in question by the doctor. This was all happening when my mother was just waiting there front of doctor.

When I said that you can't put an entire regulatory body in question, he stood by his logic that NABL labs also can't be believed and suggested me to fight and question government on their certification process. ******** ****** *** ******* ** **** ******** ****** ****** ** *** ******* He asked me almost 10 times in those 10 mins that "you understood what am I saying".

Last but not the least, the tests which you wrote i.e. HBA1C, LIPID Profile, CUE and Urine Miroalbumin were offered at your center @INR 1550 (500, 500, 150, 400) ***** ** *** **** *** ** *** **** ********** **** ***** **** ****** * *** **** ***** **** **** **** *************

Along with Rs.600 I lost another bit of my faith ** ******* ******

I don't recommend this clinic/doctor to anyone.

Mine was audio consultation ended in10 minutes. Wants to get tests done again at his clinic. He said Thyrocare reports are wrong mostly and I need to visit his clinic, consult him, get tests done at his clinic and then he will review my Diabetes.

He repeatedly said my Fasting sugars is high (236) and was more interested to get the tests done at his clinic. **** ** ******* ******* ********* ******* *** *** ** *** ** ** ******He also said my TSH is above normal and taking medicine for that is optional. I agree but then he said my T3 number is wrong (from same report).

He wants patients to visit his clinic and get tests done. ****** *** ****** **** *** *****Though the call was going smooth he abruptly disconnected the call after saying I should visit his clinic.

Dr Rakesh B was very friendly and cool. He listens to the patient’s problems very attentively and then cross verifies with medical treatment currently undergoing. His way of approach in the beginning itself will eliminate most of the health problems and gives confidence to the patient that he/she is in good hands of an endocrinologist. The way he explains health issues is quite excellent and he demonstrates how insulin needs to administer in a friendly manner. His prescription and consultation fees were reasonable* * *** *********** *** *** ****** ******* ** *** **** ********* *************** ** ********** **** *** *** ***** *** ******* I suggest people who are desperately looking for endocrinologist can go to him with trust and confidence.

I visited Dr. Rakesh for Diabetes management. I am diabetic and have thyroid issues since 6 years. I was diagnosed with Grade II fatty liver recently and wanted to change my long running medicines. Doctor was very polite and gave me around 35 mins time to talk and discuss. It was just like I was interacting with my friend.

He explained important things related to type II diabetes and he did all necessary test at his own clinic. His explanation was very clear and reflects his expertise on diabetes management. I feel really satisfied about his consultation.

I recommend him for all diabetes and thyroid related disorders.
