REVIEW after 2 YEARS of counselling

After moving back to India, I tried a couple of psychologists but I was disappointed with the kind of people present in the field in Hyderabad. The search finally ended when I met Mahima.

Midway through the FIRST session, I knew the I would come back and work with Mahima. She stood out because of a huge quality she has - EMPATHY.

1. Empathetic gentle soul. This field requires empathy; to be able to understand other people's pain and emotions is a difficult thing to do. But Mahima does a great job of that.

2. Her ability to guide you out of rough spots without rushing or making you feel awkward.

3. Multi-lingual - both Hindi and english. This is important as its so much easier to speak in a language that I was comfortable in.

4. Strong experienced professional who won't let her emotions interfere with your session

In the end, I would like to tell her to be the same and keep up the good work!

My husband and I had couple's counselling sessions with Sreedevi ma'am and found her approach effective. She helped us realise that effective communication can be restored in our relationship through practising certain techniques and making it part of our lives. Rather than give solutions she gave us tools to use to find our own solutions and we appreciate this so much. It was a liberating experience. She always has a smile on her face and explains her points as many times as it takes for us to understand it. We really appreciate her help and she encouraged us to take our own time to figure things out. I would recommend Sreedevi ma'am to anyone who is seeking therapy.

I’am really thankful to Ruhi, I went there with a lot of self doubt 2 months back but I came out very strong. I have learnt techniques to manage my anxiety on my own, have learnt to accept my feelings as they are. I have done psychotherapy before but their approach integrates mindfulness which seems to be a long lasting approach. Aarathi asks questions that make one pause and think about the feelings one is experiencing. Enables a space for reflective conversation. Enables a space to spend engaged time exploring one specific feeling (or thought, or turn of phrase, or memory) at a time. The pace of the conversation and the manner of focus was helpful for me - as well as instructive - because I often think/ feel/ speak multiple things in a rush. The conversation enabled different framings/ perspectives for a few things I felt I 'knew' about, and this first appointment felt like a good start for going ahead into more interactions with her.

I have been meeting Tina for the last three months and I sense a change in myself. I have been dealing with a lot of trauma related issues for the last 36 years and have met with different therapists in the past but felt a disconnect with them. Things have been so different with Tina. She is kind, compassionate and just gets me like no other therapist has. I am now learning to be kinder to myself and am able to make sense of all the things that I experienced in the past and am on my way to being healed. I am finally finding some semblance of peace after 36years, I would highly recommend Tina to anyone who has been dealing with trauma and similar issues

I have been suffering since last 2 years from psychological issue. This has affected my day to day life. However Miss Pooja has been a great counselor & helped me coming out of it. I have been feeling better & noticing the change . She's great at what she's doing. She explains the issue completely & makes you aware of what's happening physically. Then she approaches on recovering which is no doubt the best & only way of getting out of a mental illness & living a prosperous life. I would recommend her to everyone out there who's suffering. The best part here is the surrounding here is such that you won't feel like you came to a doctor or as such.

To call Dr. Mahima a godsend would be an understatement. I have been taking therapy with her for 2 years now and her guidance has been effective (sometimes even lifesaving) in every aspect of my life. She is a thorough professional, full of warmth and empathy. Her skill and experience are incredible. I was lost and felt absolutely defeated when I booked my first appointment with her but now, I feel like a more mindful, hopeful, resilient and kinder person. My association with her has been a journey filled with healing, growing and true self awakening. Her approach and world view is so nuanced, intricate and balanced. Through our sessions, she was always there for me, even when I wasn't. I am forever grateful that our paths crossed.

Working with Madhuri Sampath is hands down one of the best decisions I have ever made. I started having depression owing to physical, situational distress and Madhuri played a big role in helping me navigate the process. I have time and again seen her holding up the safe space, for me to work through getting the necessary insights I needed. She was kind and working with her was so much fun(Yes I said fun, she is very friendly). I am now doing great for many months now and I now know how to approach almost any challenges of life. Unlike some other psychologists who are known for giving generic suggestions which anyone can do, Madhuri helped me figure out my own solutions in accordance with the values I hold in my life. When I was with her, I KNEW for a fact that she cared about me. She made me aware of life practices like mindfulness, meditation, books I needed to read and it really up-leveled the therapy. Ultimately, after a while, I noticed that I didn't have any more issues to work on. :)

Even though for first couple of session, I was under impression that whatever she is doing, she must be knowing her job. I was wrong. Challenge is they understand very well that the patients are vulnerable *** **** *** **** *** ****** ********** ********** Just keep blaming the patient and keep telling him/her “Did I ask you to come to me?”. **** *** ***** ** **** ** ********** ** ** ********** *** *** *** * ******* ******* People are going through a lot already and when such encounters happen, it’s devastating. I regret my decision to meet her. **** ***** **** **** ******** ****** ******* ****** ******

I just had a session today with her in the morning , so the memory is really fresh . I have completed 8 sessions with her already . I still remember how scared I was before my first online interaction , she had the ability to make me comfortable within just minutes . From being too scared to having a broad smile on face did not take much time . She is just so friendly yet professional and literally has squashed All my fears of being judged . Apart from being a great therapist , she has a charismatic personality which made me so comfortable and easy to talk to her share everything and her ability to motivate and encourage is extra ordinary , she encourages me to talk about every emotion I feel . I was a in a very different state of mind when I began my journey with her and today ofcourse there is time , the journey isn't over but the progress is magical . She has really taught me the art of understanding my ownself . I am blessed to have her as my therapist . She is amazingly good .
