He subsequently went to the United Kingdom for higher Studies.He was one of the very few in the world who was given CCST in Psychiatry by Royal college of Psychiatrists(UK) without being required to undergo any further training in the UK making him eligible to be placed on General Medical Council(UK) Specialist Register.He worked as Consultant Psychiatrist at St Bartholomew's Hospital, UK for over ten years. He was actively involved in academic activities at Maudsley Hospital, London and was also Honorary Senior Lecturer at Kings College, UKLondon.He is also trained in Cognitive Behaviour therapy and Dialectic Behaviour Therapy. He has many publications under his name. He was awarded Clinical Excellence award in the UK three times. He has more than 15 years’ experience in psychiatry.
