I had torn my labrum because of which I was facing frequent shoulder dislocations and they were really painful. I decided to get it fixed because I am physically active and involved in sports.

I met with an accident last week and broken my leg bones severely. I lost hope for getting it fixed properly because injury was fatal. I was unable to bear the pain. Last year July 2021. I met with train accident where in I had multiple factures on both shoulders. I came to know about Dr Manu Bora from a friend that he is specialist in sports injury and good orthopedic Dr , so i consulted him and his line of treatment helped me to overcome this wrist and shoulder injuries and now i am able to playsports and work more efficently withour any pain.

I had dislocated my shoulder , when I met with an accident . The pain was intense and and I could not even attempt to move my arm . I consulted Dr Manu Bora and he was really helpful and addressed all my queries and fears very patiently . The experience was really different and it felt great to be treated with with professionalism and care . The surgery was pain free and post operative care and suggested exercises by the doctor helped me recover very fast , within few weeks I could normally move my arm .Am very thankful and forever grateful to Dr Manu who made me forget the trauma and helped with a quick recovery !!

I was a patient of ACL injury and severe should pain. But Dr. Manu's rehabilitation program with exercises and dietary changes really made a difference. Seriously, the best orthopedic in Gurgoan.

He gives you all the information about what he is gonna do, what is the procedure & how much it can pain, which helps the patient to get mentally prepared for the surgery. Very careful & gentle during the dressing of the wounds post surgery.

Summary: The procedure is expensive and the staff is non-cooperative at times. After surgical rehabilitation charges do not provide value. The physiotherapist charges money just to share videos on WhatsApp. However, at the end of the day, the surgery is important and is performed well by the doctor. Detailed Review:

I got to know about Dr. Manu Bora through YouTube videos *** * **** *** **** ** *** ****** ****** **** ** *** ********* **** ** *******

I reached out to his team and his team was quick to reply and make me understand the procedure that I was supposed to go through. I was suggested to undergo an ACL reconstruction surgery with a fiber tape internal brace.

Since I had insurance, the cost was on the higher side. Even though my insurer did not have a tie-up with Dr. Manu's hospital, still his team gave me a window of 45 days to get the money insurer and pay him which was a really good thing.

I was told my surgery would happen at Lamidas and was called to the hospital one day prior to the surgery. I was attended there by their staff and they were really helpful.

However, 1 thing I would like to point out is that by this time, I hadn't met Dr. Manu Bora. The next day, after completing all the pre-surgical procedures I was told the doctor would come to see me, however, he was almost 3 hours late.

Nonetheless, the surgery was completed in 1.5 hrs, and as the doctor promised he made me walk a few steps the next day.

I had my flight back from Delhi the next day at 1 PM and I started requesting a discharge at 6 AM in the morning so that the paperwork could be completed and I could get to the airport on time. However, even after a lot of requests and calling his team at least 20 times, all my requests fell on deaf ears. They delayed the procedure so much that I missed my flight. They did not cooperate at all. I had to spend an additional Rs 18.000 to book flights a the airport.

Also, just after leaving the hospital, I started feeling unbearable pain around my neck and head. There was no pain till the time I was laying on the bed, but the moment I used to sit and stand, the pain used to start almost immediately and it was unbearable. While returning, I had to keep my head straight for almost 4 hours, and I had to bear so much pain. I cried for almost after 8 years that day, it was one of the most painful moments in recent times.

When I came back home, I called Dr. Manu's team to understand why was this happening and I was told this is due to a Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Leak. This leak happened when spinal anesthesia was given to me. I was told that this will get better in a couple of weeks and recommended drinking lots of coffee and water. However, for the next 10 days, I was completely bedridden and I had to keep myself in a laying position the entire time.

Next was the exercises that I had to do as part of the therapy. The physiotherapist used to have a call once every two weeks and charged money just to share some videos. Considering my situation I had to lie down most of the time, and the exercises were even more difficult. However, I did not miss even a single day and did all my exercises. For the initial 20 days, I had to walk with the help of a supporter but after 15 days I could walk.

I started mild jogging after 60 days and that was really positive. There is still some pain while climbing stairs and doing a few other activities.

At an overall level, I wouldn't say that it was a very positive experience but it was fine.

One morning, I met with a road accident and that’s how I met Dr Manu Bora.

His sweet and calm approach made me believe that something in life is meant to happen so it happens, He turned my road accident trauma into memories of understanding the healing process and regaining to confidence.

Dr Manu Bora sir are the best, but he denied for my surgery of acl in 2002, I respect him alot, and still wish to get operated by him only, I know he can do miracle in knee ligament surgery

I was having a complete ACL tear with a meniscus tear sir has done the treatment very nicely. I have consulted my injury with many doctors but no one is giving me 100 % assurance about my complete recovery whereas Dr. Manu suggested **** treatment with faster recovery. The Behavior of the staff is very nice. I was afraid of surgery and not willing to go for it but after talking to Dr. Manu I changed my mind. He is very humble and kind doctor I have ever met.
