Visited Dr. Hirdesh Kumar (Physiotherapist)
Happy with: Treatment satisfaction
I had a history of nagging injuries that started when I used to play cricket. These injuries persisted even after I had stopped playing, and over time I had many muscular imbalances as I subconsciously tried to protect some of my injured body parts.
I had troubles with my right ACL (5 to 6 years - minimal low grade partial tear but it was not healing),left ankle (sprained multiple times), back pain on doing certain exercises (7, 8 years - started when I used to be a fast bowler) and left ACL (Aug 2021). All in all, I had a very stiff body which was on the downtrend as I seemed to catch on a new injury every time I exerted myself.
I have had my share of physios over time, none of them have been helpful. I can't say if this was due to me being a bad patient or the physios lacking knowledge and skills.
But, I know this for sure, that Hirdesh Kumar is an excellent physio who was able to pinpoint the problematic muscle group and tell me the relevant exercises to correct these problems. He doesn't prescribe any 'machine-related cures but rather, just good exercise routines which help in correcting the fundamental motor mechanics that provide sustainable and stable recovery instead of temporary relief provided by cupping, physio machines, etc. He didn't ask me to visit too frequently and I didn't feel like he was trying to rinse out money from me which I had felt in my visits to many other physios.
Over time I had also become pessimistic and I resisted any exercises that increased the pain in my injuries. He also helped me get past this by stressing the fact that even in the case of right exercise routines, pain will be an inevitable part of recovery that shouldn't be avoided.
I am yet to make full recovery but I have made immense progress, likes of which I wouldn't have imagined before consulting Hirdesh Kumar.
But he did overcharge me though, 700 per visit instead of 400 written here. But it was worth it.

I was quite distressed after my knee acl surgery with not much progress with my knee ROM nad gait. Dr Hirdesh not only gave me hope of improvement but also rendered significantly visible results.
I would recommend him for acl surgery rehab as he puts unprecedented effort in all possible ways.
He has a very friendly and courteous way of treating patients, definitely value to money and time.
