Dr Basu has become our family GP over the past few years, starting with a single consultation for one family member to being the go-to doctor for our extended family. She is experienced, ********* ************* *** remains on top of contemporary happenings in medicine and yet, at the same time retains all the classical virtues of a family doctor: long-term and sustained record keeping of your overall health and medications you take, thoroughness and patience with consultations -- much appreciated in particular when you take a family elder, in my case my mother -- and her innate caution that makes her not ignore the smallest detail. Going to Dr Basu has reminded my family and me of the importance of a general physician who is overall custodian of your health -- the habit of going to specialists without first consulting your GP means you often miss connections between underlying health conditions that only your GP can spot. I cannot be more grateful for her time, expertise and excellence, and recommend her unreservedly.

Doctor Joyeeta Basu has come to us like a life line. We old people do not feel isolated or vulnerable anymore having experienced her guiding hand during the Pandemic Episode. She is knowledgable and has the ability to cut to the core of the problem. She is precise and has the ability to see through a smoke screen if any. Her accessibility gives us comfort and strength. I’ve consulted this doctor earlier also but don’t know if she was having a bad day and that’s why took out her frustration on me or what. When she gave me vitamin D supplement, I tried to tell her that I was already taking some, she didn’t want to listen and said this is not important. When I didn’t understand the meaning of M/E written on the prescription, she got irritated as if the whole world knows M/E stands for morning/evening. **** * ***** *** **** ** ******* **** ******* ****** ***** **** ********** ***** ************ *** **** *** ***** *** ******* ***** ****** ***** ** *** **** ***** *** *** ****** *** *** *********** *** ** * ******** Our call lasted barely 5 minutes, she didn’t even do a video call, a normal phone call and was behaving as if my questions took hours of her time. Absolutely arrogant behaviour !
