I have been consulting with Deepika ma'am for almost 3 yrs now. Thanks to her constant support throughout this period, I finally had a baby on 13th May 2021.

My pregnancy journey had been full of unwanted events. First was a spontaneous miscarriage around 3 yrs back. I was with a different gynae at that time and although she was knowledgeable and well sought after, the overall experience made me realize that going forward I would need more personal support from my doctor. After recovery, I researched and chose to consult Deepika ma'am for the way forward. I was badly traumatized by the miscarriage and was feeling down. But the first meeting itself provided me the much needed uplifting. She listened to my rant patiently and answered all my questions. I followed up with her for next year but as fate would have it, this too ended in a miscarriage. It broke me to the core and I started blaming anyone and everyone for it. But she talked me through and gave me the belief that there was nothing wrong with me or my husband and that these things happen naturally (in fact these are more common than we think they are). It was her encouragement only that gave me the strength to plan again. She took extra care of me and prescribed tests, medicines, injections, diet plan, Dos & Don'ts in daily life etc. as and when needed. As a result there was no early miscarriage third time around. But unfortunately, I developed Gestational Diabetes around 3rd month of the pregnancy. She kept a close watch and worked with an endocrinologist to keep me and my baby safe. Her well-planned tests also caught a dip in my iron levels timely which could've harmed the baby. In the 9th month I contracted Covid. It was a really bad time for Delhi-NCR and despite being overworked (as she was supporting many patients of her infected gynae friends as well), she provided me with all the guidance to navigate the uncertainties surrounding Covid and pregnancy. One specific instance I would like to quote when baby's movements were declining for a day. I panicked but I couldn't get a USG or NST done due to my Covid +ve status. She understood my anxiety and called some personal favors to arrange an NST for my baby within few hours. She even followed up after that by herself. I have never seen/heard a doctor help out at this level despite being stressed herself.

I was adamant for a normal delivery but these complications and my weight gained during pregnancy (~90 kg) meant it was difficult. She clearly told me about the various scenarios but she didn't give up on me and encouraged for a normal delivery. Owing to my religious beliefs, I wanted the delivery on a specific day. She accommodated my request and planned the induced delivery accordingly. The D-Day was c*azy. I knew that labor pain is much to take but didn't know this much! A night before delivery she kept constant contact with on-duty staff for my developments and was always available to us over phone. When the time came, she reached quickly to perform the delivery. I have seen cases in family where doctors delegated the delivery to someone else because they were busy elsewhere. But not her. She was always there for us and I can't tell you how comforting it was in those moments. There were some complications during the delivery but she handled them well and now our bundle of joy is healthy and already 2 months old :) .

Thank you ma'am for your support all this time. I don't think without your medical and mental support I could be the happy mother I am today.

I strongly recommend her to all those planning for parenthood.

P.S.: Sometimes there can be long wait periods at the clinic but that is because her patients like to talk to her and she gives ample time to every patient :) (though emergency cases are considered on priority)

I am writing about my experience of delivering a beautiful baby boy, just a week ago, under the guidance of Dr. Deepika Sood. Our journey with her started in July 2020 when after months of trying to have a baby, we landed up in her clinic. Took reference from Practo and reviews on Practo. From day 1, doctor was very calm and positive towards our case and was sure that we will conceive without any concerns. Where other doctors had started suggesting ultrasounds and additional meditation, dr. Deepika Sood on the other hand just wanted us to not take any stress. We conceived naturally in August. Throughout these 9 months, doctor was always approachable. She is a very good listener and is one of the most polite doctors I have met. I was never prescribed any additional u/s or med. Just the essentials. Everything was fine till we came to know that the baby has 2 tight loops around the neck and a natural delivery could be difficult. We were always scared of a c-sec delivery and we conveyed the same to doctor as well. Fortunately, dr was on the same page as us. She wanted us to wait for natural pains to kick in, and we got admitted on 6th May. On the eve of 7th May, my baby arrived via vacuum delivery. It is very uncommon for doctors to go ahead with natural delivery when the baby is in such a situation, but dr. Sood’s expertise and confidence made it possible for us to avoid a c-sec delivery. I would recommend her to all the couples who are looking for correct guidance and support in their journey of welcoming a baby to their lives.

I visited Deepika Mam for periods issues in January 2022 and diagnosed with PCOS, after the treatment my periods issue and PCOS got better with time.

In august 2022, I visited Mam again as we were planning for conceiving. I had a prior knee injury and gained some weight, so Mam asked me to take 3 months time, work on my diet, do exercises and then try as knee injury will cause more discomfort in pregnancy. She always guided us right and never pushed for anything just for the sake of it.

Then in November 2022, she guided us in our pre pregnancy journey and in March 2023, we got to know that we have conceived and from there on also, Mam was always there for us, always available to guide over call/message also.

She always pushed me that we will go for normal delivery. Always guided us with the right thing at the right time.

Be it exercises, shots, tests, diet etc.

Whatever was the ups and downs we had during our pregnancy, she was always supportive, never scared me over anything. She was always like “hume normal delivery krni” and pushing me to do everything which was required to be done.

And finally the D-day came, I was in labour for 16-17 hours and Mam patiently waited and not even once said let’s opt for c-section, not even once. And finally we had normal delivery only.

I am so so thankful for Deepika Mam, she was nothing less than a blessing for me. I had a wonderful experience with Mam and writing this detailed review, so that this review may help women in need and Mam may continue helping more and more women.

*** **** ** ** *** *** **** ************* **** * **** **** ******* After doing a thorough search on best gynaecologists in gurgaon, I zeroed down on her for my first pregnancy. Right from my first visit till my last, she never spoke to us any sort of haste as most doctors tend to do. She always listened to all my queries and concerns with utmost patience.

The best thing about her is that she never prescribed me any unnecessary medicines, which is also a very prevalent practice amongst other doctors.

She never asked me to go for needless doctor visits.

All thanks to her, my pregnancy went really smooth without even a single complication whatsoever. I cannot stress enough how warm her personality is, which makes one really comfortable in her presence.

Lastly, I feel she is the only gynaecologist who remains very up to date with the recent demands of pregnancy related things. For instance, she was open about discussing birth plans, of having a water birth, etc or any other choice that I wanted to make for my experience of delivering a baby.

I would highly recommend Dr. Sood to any woman who wants a good gynaecologist for handling any pregnancy related issues.

Dr. Deepika Sood is an angel for us. We started consultation with her in Feb 2021 and since, then she has been the pillar of support for us through our ups and downs. My wife was diagnosed with PCOS and were finding it difficult to plan for pregnancy. Dr. Sood was very patient to understand all our concerns/queries and was able to guide us throughout this journey. She was one who actually managed to bring out my wife out of depression after we had a missed abortion. Dr. Sood made sure that with proper counselling and medication, my wife was able to conceive the very next cycle and Dr. Sood was available 24*7 for us through out these 9 months. She did the C-Section to deliver our baby in March 23 and both my wife and baby were all fine. With the proper guidance and medication from Dr. Sood, my wife is recovering quickly.

We are deeply indebted to Dr. Sood for what she has done for us.

Throughout these 2 years of journey which we had, Dr. Sood has been next to God for us. We have not met a more kinder doctor who is always ready to support her patient.

Dr Deepika has been an absolute professional, encouraging doctor who treated my medical concern with great care, always gave me alternative solutions and was encouraging at all times. She never imposes her advices and listens patiently to all the concern. I have always felt comfortable in asking all information because of the undivided attention she gives to her patients. Throughout my pregnancy, She kept encouraging me and kept me in positive state of mind. She is pro-active in dealing with issues which might come later and guides patients to take decisions effectively. Her assistant is also very efficient and makes sure that all the patients are attended timely. We owe our perfect birth experience to Dr. Deepika and her team. Cannot thank her enough for her guidance and support throughout our journey of parenthood.

Also, She let us choose from a range of hospitals for delivery as she is in the panel of leading hospitals of Gurgaon which is something rare. We always felt confident about our options coz of the guidance provided by her.

*** ******* **** ** ****** ****** **** **** ************she listen everyone very patiently n calmly and give personal touch to all..i am a father now and the way she handled delivery, are just superb..in spite of so many complications she managed so well and give her o/s support all the time..Usually I have seen so many cases where patients wants normal delivery but doctors threaten them with so many issues and complications and patients has to agree for C sec but Dr Deepika only prefer to do normal deliveries n tries her best till the end. I was blessed with a baby boy one month back. The way Dr. Deepika handled my wife's entire pregnancy and delivery was commendable. She never asked for unnecessary tests/scans. She was always available for all our queries. She was always positive in her approach and helped us steer through pregnancy in a most convenient manner. I was 5 months pregnant when we moved to Gurgaon and were looking for a new doctor. One of my friends recommend Dr Deepika Sood to us and thats how we met her. We had our baby girl on 14th of March and couldn't stop ourselves to share our experience about Dr Deepika.

1. Approachability- She is so warm and easy to reach out to that you feel comfortable in the very first visit. She took proper time to address all our small and big queries during visits and even on phone. We never found her to be in a rush.

2. Convenience - She would recommend places when you can get tests done from and her assistants will directly coordinate for reports etc. We just had to get our tests done and not bother about sending reports to her even now and then.

3. Cost effective - Irrespective of how many other engagements she has waiting, she will never rush on an appointment. She would give us proper time and encourage us to ask questions. She didn't call us to her clinic unnecessarily and half the time would coordinate on WhatsApp and phone and ask us to save money.

4. Guidance - She knows her job and quite well. But she will not assume us to be a medical expert and would explain things to us in the language we understand. She made every sound simple and doable and all the while we exactly knew where we stood in terms of situation.

In overalls, we highly recommend Dr Deepika. She is awesome!

I would give more than 5 stars to Dr. if I would get the option. Dr. Deepika is very polite, ************* *** ********. She was very calm through each visit. I always looked forward to her advice and she made every phase of my pregnancy really easy. I enjoyed my pregnancy because of her. Talking to her about the medicine and birth plan was quite helpful to me for my D day. She told me every detail at the very right time when I needed to know. How to exercise, how to prepare my body for the baby delivery, my food needs, just everything. I felt a special kind of trust and confidence in her. When I got the labour pain, she was totally there for me. Seeing her in front of me filled me with a special force within. And then I met my baby, just the way I always wanted, I had normal vaginal delivery. Discussing birth plan with her was the best we did in our some last visits in clinic.
