I had been suffering from back pain for the past 2 years and had visited several orthopedic and neuro doctors, all of whom recommended surgery. Then, about 4 months ago, my colleague suggested I should visit the Center of Movement Medicine. I consulted with Dr. Ritika Srivastava, who provided me with regular sessions and explained my condition in detail. She advised a conservative treatment approach. It's been 2 months now, and I can confidently say that my condition has greatly improved. I can now perform most of my daily routine activities without pain. I was experiencing a lot of pain in my knees due to a gym injury and consequent weight gain. Dr. Ritika almost removed the pain in 15 sessions. Dr. Ananya took a few of those sessions as well. They are both very professional, empathetic and patient. Ritika explained the pain syndrome to me in great detail and kept answering my questions every time we met. The exercises she made me do targeted my entire lower body and strengthened my knees, thighs, calves and hips. With her help, I squatted, jumped and climbed high steps for the first time after two years. And she never made me feel conscious about the weight gain.
