I was suffering from Psoriasis since two years which is a skin disorder that causes skin cells to multiply up to 10 times faster than normal. It led to red and scaly skin on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. Plaques of red skin which were painful, and they sometimes used to crack and bleed. Disorders of the fingernails and toenails, including discoloration and pitting of the nails were also visible. The nails used to detach from the nail bed. Because of psoriasis I also got a type of arthritis called psoriatic arthritis. It causes pain and swelling in the joints.
