Ms Shukla has been exceptionally understanding and helpful in my dealing with negative thoughts and emotions resulting from Bipolar depression. She has supported a great deal with me exploring the pattern of thoughts and also provided very effective tips to help with those.I have been open to her about my sexual identity and she was not only completely non-judgemental but also very supportive and compassionate. I have seen other psychologists before but revealing my identity to her was far more comfortable and inspired confidence. She asked me several times if I had any issues with my sexual identity to be sure that it wasn't contributing to my depression; reassuring each time that it is completely fine and normal to be so. During our counseling sessions, she listens carefully and enquires about things which are unusual or have done hidden subtext. Understanding your own thoughts with her is easy and fruitful. I have also disagreed with her at times and she gracefully accepted my opinion and pushed me think further along those lines to ensure that I truly believe so. When something doesn't sit right and you voice it to her, she lets you take the lead in further exploring your thoughts on that.My therapy with her has been in conjugation with my psychiatric medicines. Meds do their work but they can't do what therapy does. For anyone who's reading, just a small suggestion: while Ms Shukla is a fantastic therapist, you have to meet her halfway. It is important to do exercises that she suggests. The good thing: she takes your interest in account before suggesting the exercise. I have had better compliance to these suggestions compared to other therapists. Also, it can be a while before you get better. The key is perseverance.

Ms. Jyoti Shukla is very efficient psychologist. She advised very practical and easy changes in life which made me feel better after few days only. She goes into complete detailing of the problem and after she comes out of the solution which are easy to adapt.

Ms. Jyoti shukla is very soft spoken and polite and she gives you all the time to express yourself and you won't feel that you are talking to her for the first time. she suggested some solutions to the issues which I am. currently dealing, she is very understanding and calm, I am definitely booking another appointment with her.
