Yellowish teeth are usually a result of deposition of tartar and plaque. Tartar is difficult to remove only with brushing. Scaling/teeth cleaning may solve the problem. If the natural color of the teeth is yellow, teeth whitening/bleaching will help.

hello dear, the most common reason could be the accumulation of plaque and tartar on your teeth. It can happen even after regular brushing because of improper brushing technique. do your gums bleed while brushing?
Next Steps
do brushing in circular motions, not verticaly or horizontaly.
Health Tips
get a thorough check up done and if required go for scaling and then follow maintenance regime for preventing gum disease.
