Sir/Ma'am, I am asking for my father (57 yrs). He is an active smoker (5 cigarettes every day),not alcoholic . As he is growing old, I thought to do some basic tests like some blood tests and some other tests just to be confirm that he is okay. The blood tests like glucose is 101, urea,
creatinine is normal, blood count is normal (haemoglobin is little less) , esr is normal, echocardiography was done , it is normal ( i am attaching the report) and chest x ray was also done , but in chest x ray , everything else is normal but it is written in impression that " prominent bronchovascular markings in bilateral lung fields". I am also attaching the report of chest x ray. He is not ashthmatic, but he sometimes suffer from cold in winter season. Now, I just want to know that whether this prominent bronchovascular markings is due to smoking ??? If so then what to do? If there is any medicine to cure this markings, pls suggest!!
