Wound in gums?
Hi! All of a sudden there is something like a small wound in my gums above one of my teeth. (See attached photo). It hurts when I brush the tooth, but not really otherwise. Could this be because of food or something? Will it get good by itself? The tooth has an old and fixed injury (from when I was a child), so don't look at that.

It seems like your gum is receiding that's why you are feeling sensitivity. You may need treatment for that. Till then use soft bristle toothbrush.

Hie...gums are receding from that side...try to clean that area always..do warm saline rinses 4 times a day and use soft brush gently .
